The battle between Kai and Aria against Metallo raged on, the metallic menace unleashing blasts of Kryptonite energy with terrifying precision. Kai, his agility honed through years of rigorous training, darted and weaved through the deadly beams. Each dodge was closer than the last, the glowing green energy singing the air around him. Despite the danger, his focus remained unshaken, his eyes locked on Metallo's weak points.

Aria, meanwhile, was relentless. Lightning crackled in her hands, her movements fluid as she danced around the battlefield. She hurled bolts of electricity at Metallo, the attacks creating sparks and disorienting the cyborg's sensors. Her strikes were precise, aimed to disrupt his systems and buy Kai precious seconds to close the gap.

"He's adapting!" Kai shouted as he leaped over a blast that carved a smoldering trench in the ground. "We need to hit him hard and fast before he gets the upper hand!"

"On it!" Aria replied, her voice steady despite the intensity of the fight. She raised her hands, summoning a storm of lightning that swirled above them, crackling ominously. With a determined cry, she sent the storm crashing down onto Metallo, the impact staggering him and causing his systems to glitch momentarily.

But just as it seemed they were gaining the upper hand, Kai's sharp eyes caught sight of something troubling in the distance. Rikiya Katsukame, the massive villain who had been subdued earlier, was back on his feet. His muscles bulged unnaturally, veins glowing with an eerie light—evidence of a drug-enhanced Quirk. With a roar, he lunged at Ryukyu, his strength overwhelming the dragon hero as she struggled to keep him at bay.

"Damn it, not now!" Kai muttered under his breath, his mind racing. Ryukyu was one of their strongest allies in this fight, and if Katsukame overpowered her, the entire battlefield could tip in the villains' favor.

"Kai!" Aria's voice brought him back to the immediate threat. Metallo had recovered from her lightning strike and was now charging his Kryptonite core, the energy building to a dangerous level. If he unleashed that much power, it would devastate the area and put everyone at risk.

Kai made a split-second decision. "Aria, keep Metallo occupied! I'll handle Katsukame and back you up as soon as I can."

Aria nodded, her determination shining through. "Go! I've got this."

Without wasting a moment, Kai sprinted toward the clash between Katsukame and Ryukyu. As he approached, he could see the dragon hero faltering under the onslaught. Her claws scraped against Katsukame's enhanced frame, but the sheer force of his blows was forcing her back.

"Katsukame!" Kai shouted, drawing the massive villain's attention. The momentary distraction was all Ryukyu needed to catch her breath and shift back into a more defensive stance.

Kai skidded to a halt, his stance firm as he faced the towering opponent. "You want a fight? Come and get it."

Katsukame sneered, his voice a guttural growl. "You think you can stop me, kid? I'm unstoppable now!"

Kai smirked, his confidence unshaken. "We'll see about that."

Kai grabbed Katsukame by the shirt, his muscles straining as he launched into the sky. The villain struggled in his grasp, roaring in fury, but Kai's grip was unyielding. As he ascended, his super vision kicked in, scanning the terrain below. His eyes locked onto a weak point in the street—a structural connection that led directly to the underground lair where Kara and Izuku were engaged in a desperate battle against Overhaul.

Kai's determination hardened. "Time to end this!" he muttered under his breath, the wind roaring in his ears as he burst downward in a blazing streak of speed.
