Naomasa's jaw tightened as he watched the feed. Mirko's figure blurred across the screen — a streak of white and muscle — weaving through the chaos as the High-End Nomu swung at her with monstrous precision. Each impact she landed shattered reinforced steel, but even through the grainy footage, it was clear: she was pushing herself far beyond safe limits.

"She's still moving that fast after taking that hit?" murmured one officer, awe and fear mixing in his voice.

Naomasa didn't respond immediately. He zoomed in on the live feed, watching as Mirko delivered a spinning kick that pulverized a Nomu's jaw, only to be struck from behind by another. She hit the ground hard but rolled back to her feet, blood streaking her arm.

"Mirko's condition?" he asked sharply.

"Vitals are stable but dropping — she's injured but refusing to retreat," came the answer from the med-support liaison. "She's demanding they keep the path to Kyudai clear."

Of course she is, Naomasa thought grimly. The Rabbit Hero wasn't the type to back down. Not when she smelled the core of the enemy operation right in front of her.

A loud alert pinged across the command center. The central monitor split into multiple feeds — Team Edgeshot's infiltration at Gunga Mountain Villa, Team Endeavor's advance in the hospital, and a new signal flickering on the far right: Superman's last known location — Signal Lost.

"Still no response from Superman?" Naomasa asked, voice dropping lower, the weight of it cutting through the noise.

Toshinori stiffened at the far end of the room. His eyes — usually calm and calculating — betrayed a flicker of dread. "We've been trying every frequency," he said, his voice deep with worry. "He went dark just as Mirko made contact with Kyudai's sector."

Melissa stood beside him, hands clenched around her portable comm device. Her usual bright confidence was gone, replaced by the anxious tremor of someone trying to hold herself together. "He wouldn't just go silent... unless something interfered with his power source."

Naomasa turned toward her. "You think someone's found a way to neutralize him?"

"Not neutralize," she said quietly, pushing her glasses up as her eyes darted across the readouts. "Suppress. Luthor's technology uses adaptive nano-cells. If one of those systems was activated near Kai, it could be blocking his solar absorption and disrupting his Quirk synchronization."

A murmur of alarm spread through the command center. Several officers turned toward Toshinori, who was now standing straight, his expression grim.

"If Luthor's involved... then this isn't just another Nomu operation," Toshinori muttered. "This is a countermeasure — designed specifically for him."

Naomasa looked back at the monitors, the feeds now showing simultaneous chaos: Mirko surrounded, Endeavor battling waves of Nomu, and the Titans pushing through the villa perimeter under Nightwing's lead.

"Get me a direct line to Nightwing's comms," Naomasa ordered. "If Superman's been compromised, we can't afford to lose contact with the field units. They need to know what they're walking into."

Melissa swallowed hard, typing furiously on her tablet. "I might be able to trace his last solar pulse," she said, determination overriding fear. "If I can isolate it, we'll know where he is—and what they're doing to him."

Toshinori placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Good. Do it. We'll bring him back."

Naomasa nodded. "And until we do... the operation continues. All units—keep pressure on both fronts. We can't let the League or Luthor's forces gain momentum. Superman may be down, but his presence still inspires every hero out there. Let's make sure it stays that way."
