Kai and Izuku were now sitting a separate table as the girls talked among themselves.

"Did Melissa really design your costume?" Izuku asked admiring Kai's new costume.

"Yeah, she did! She's incredibly talented when it comes to designing and engineering hero great" Kai said with pride.

As Kai and Izuku chatted at their table, admiring the craftsmanship of Kai's new hero costume, the girls, Jiro, Momo, Ochako, and Melissa sat at a nearby table, deep in conversation. Jiro, ever the curious one, leaned forward with a mischievous grin.

"So, Melissa, spill the tea. How did you and Sensei meet?" Jiro asked with a teasing tone while her eyes twinkling with curiosity.

Ochako giggled. "Yeah, we need details!"

"It must be a fascinating story. You two seem really close." Momo said calmly.

Melissa, caught a bit off guard, chuckled softly and shifted in her seat. "Well, it's not as exciting as you might think."

Jiro raised an eyebrow. "Come on, it has to be more exciting than that. You and Sensei seem like you've known each other forever!"

Melissa smiled. "We met when I was about 14. My dad and All Might are really good friends, so ."

Melissa hesitated for a moment, knowing she had to tread carefully since Kai's past was a closely guarded secret. She quickly composed herself, ready to tell the fabricated story she'd come up with.

"Well," Melissa began, glancing around as if recalling the past, "it all started when All Might brought him to I-Island for some specialized training. Kai wasn't really known to the public back then"

"That makes sense. Kai-sensei wasn't publicly introduced as All Might's son until he was 15, right? When he first entered U.A.?" Momo added.

Melissa nodded, grateful that they believed her. "Exactly. Before that, he was pretty much kept out of the spotlight. All Might didn't want the media attention to overwhelm him."

Kai smiled hearing Melissa fabricating his origin story as he continued to talk with Izuku when suddenly a voice came.

"Here are your drinks Midoriya, Sensei," Denki said, placing the drinks on the table.

"Kaminari, Mineta?" Izuku looked up in surprise.

"What are you two doing here?" Kyoka asked, puzzled.

Denki scratched his head. "Well, you see, they were asking for workers, so we decided to pick up part-time jobs here at the café."

"Yeah, and it's not so bad!" Mineta chimed in. "We get to meet all sorts of interesting people and..."

His gaze lingered on Melissa, but it quickly shifted to fear as Kai shot him a death glare his eyes blazing red for a moment making Mineta rethink his words.

"Uh, right! I mean, uh, we get to meet all sorts of interesting people and... learn valuable life skills!" Mineta said nervously.

"Yeah, that's it! Plus, the pay isn't too shabby either," Denki added.

"Well, I'm glad to see you both taking some responsibility. Keep up the good work." Kai said regaining his smile patting Kaminari's back.

Before the conversation could continue, Iida appeared out of nowhere, scolding the two boys.

"Iida!" Izuku exclaimed, surprised.

Ochako grinned. "You came too!"

"I come from a family of heroes, and since my parents couldn't make it, I'm here in their place," Iida explained.
