"Oi, Superman, what is happening here?" Bakugo's voice cut through the floor as his eyes were narrowed in suspicion.
"Villains have taken control of the security system," Kai explained as he still was recovering from the effect the bullet had on him.
"Enough of this!!!" One of the villains shouted as he transformed into purple monster thar roared at the pro hero and his students. Daigo's and prompted towards Kai.
barely had time to react as the villain, now a massive purple monster, lunged at him with terrifying speed. Despite the lingering weakness from the bullet's effects, Kai's instincts kicked in. He raised his arms just in time, catching the monster's colossal fists with both hands. The impact rattled through his body, sending him skidding backward as his boots dug into the floor.
The force behind the monster's attack was immense. Even at full strength, it would have been a challenge, but now—while weakened—Kai struggled to maintain his footing. His muscles strained, veins bulging against his skin as he gritted his teeth, pushing back against the villain's overwhelming power.
"Oi, Superman!" Bakugo's voice cut through the chaos. He stood a few feet away, eyes narrowed with suspicion and growing impatience. "What the hell is going on here? You look like you're struggling!"
Kai, still holding off the monster, managed to glance at Bakugo. "Villains have taken control of the security system," he explained through clenched teeth, his voice strained from the effort. "They're using something... that's tampering with my powers."
Before he could elaborate, the purple monster let out an earth-shaking roar, doubling its efforts to crush Kai beneath its fists. Kai's knees buckled slightly, but he held firm, sweat pouring down his face as he resisted the brute force.
The purple monster roared in frustration, pressing down harder with its massive fists. Kai, his muscles burning from the effort, knew he couldn't rely on brute strength alone anymore. He let the monster's force push down on him for a brief second, then, with a swift move, he shifted his weight, using the villain's own momentum against him.
The villain, expecting resistance, was caught off guard as Kai deftly redirected the force, sending the monster stumbling forward. Kai twisted to the side, narrowly avoiding the beast's flailing arms, and landed a sharp, focused strike to its exposed ribs.
The villain grunted, momentarily stunned by the speed and precision of the blow. Kai smirked, his stance now lighter and more fluid. "You thought I was just brute strength?" he taunted; his eyes gleaming with confidence. "You're mistaken."
Kai danced around the villain's wild swings, evading with ease and countering each attack with rapid punches to weak points—his fists a blur of precision. Every strike was measured, aimed at disorienting and weakening the monster further. The purple beast grew more enraged, its attacks becoming more erratic, but Kai remained calm, his martial arts training kicking in.
The villain's confusion turned into shock. How was this weakened hero so fast? So agile?
Before the villain could react, Kirishima joined the fray, his body fully hardened like a wall of stone. He rushed in from the side, slamming into the monster with a thunderous blow that sent the creature reeling.
"I got your back, Kai-sensei!" Kirishima shouted; his voice full of determination as he blocked another swipe from the villain.
"Good timing, Kirishima," Kai said, dodging a heavy fist aimed at him. "But stay sharp. We're not done yet."
While Kai and Kirishima kept the purple monster at bay, Bakugo was already locked in fierce combat with the other villain, Daigo. Explosions rocked the room as Bakugo unleashed blast after blast, his relentless assault forcing Daigo to stay on the defensive.
