The train ride to the Todoroki household had been oddly quiet, save for the occasional scoff from Bakugo or Kara humming an off-tune song to pass the time. As the group stepped off and approached the clean, modern Todoroki estate, Kai adjusted the collar of his coat, trying to look less like the Number One Hero and more like a decent dinner guest.

The front door opened before they could even knock.

"Welcome!" Fuyumi greeted with a warm smile, hands clasped together in front of her apron. "I'm so glad you came!"

Shoto stood just behind her, hands in his pockets, a subtle but genuine nod of acknowledgment offered to the four arriving guests.

Kai gave a two-finger salute. "Fuyumi-san. Thanks for having us."

Fuyumi's gaze landed on the younger ones. "You must be Kara, Izuku, and Katsuki, right? I'm Shoto's older sister—please make yourselves at home."

Izuku immediately bowed. "Y-Yes! It's an honor to meet you! Thank you for having us!" He paused, nervously rubbing the back of his neck. "Also... I wanted to say I'm sorry about the Sports Festival... I didn't mean to hurt Shoto. I—"

Fuyumi waved it off gently. "It's okay, Midoriya-kun. We watched the whole thing. You two pushed each other pretty hard, but... honestly, I think it helped him. So thank you."

Izuku blinked, stunned into silence, cheeks red.

Kara, standing beside him with arms crossed, turned to Kai with a crooked smile.

"Was that fight really that bad?"

Kai exhaled through his nose, his smirk thin and dry. "Not bad," he said. "Just... over-destructive for first years. Arena got nuked. Twice."

Bakugo clicked his tongue. "Tch. If I had been there—"

"You were there," Kai cut in, glancing back at him. "And you also blew up the field."

"Yeah, because I win." Bakugo grinned.

Shoto finally stepped forward, his tone calm. "It's good to see you all. Come in. Dinner's almost ready."

As they stepped inside, warmth filled the air—not just from the heating system, but from the subtle, unfamiliar feeling of a family trying to come back together. And tonight... the Titans were part of that table.

Fuyumi guided them through the elegant but simple home, her warm voice keeping the atmosphere light despite the undercurrents everyone could feel. The dining room was already set—plates arranged neatly, warm dishes lining the center of the long wooden table. Sitting at one end, his arms crossed and posture relaxed but alert, was a tall young man with shaggy white hair and sharp blue eyes—clearly a Todoroki.

"This is my older brother, Natsuo," Fuyumi said with a smile, though there was a tiny crack of nervousness behind her words.

Natsuo gave a polite wave. "Yo."

Kai gave a respectful nod. "Nice to meet you, Natsuo."

Izuku, ever polite, bowed a bit. "It's an honor!"

Kara nodded with a grin. "Cool hair."

Bakugo didn't say anything, just shoved his hands in his pockets and grunted.

Shoto stood beside the table. "These are my friends from school Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, and Kara Yagi. And this is Kai—Superman. He was our teacher for the first semester of school"

Natsuo blinked. "You brought Superman to dinner... huh."

Before anyone could respond, the sound of firm, deliberate footsteps echoed through the hallway. A moment later, Enji Todoroki—Endeavor—stepped into view. His sheer presence darkened the room slightly, as if the weight of his past entered with him. The Number Two Hero's sharp eyes scanned the guests before settling on Kai.
