🌙One and a half years later.

"Stand over here, darling. You too, my darling." said Firsts mother and pulled First and Khao to the entrance of the restaurant. "Mae... this is embarrassing." "Oh, nonsense." she said and took a few pictures. The restaurant was full and the young couple stood in the middle - dressed for their graduation, with robes and caps. The full program. "Perfect and now one with Singto in it." "Singto?" called First, but got no reaction. "Singto?" "I'm coming!" said the little boy and ran down the stairs with Fiat by his hand. "Sorry, Min had to pee so it took us a moment." said Fiat, smiling. "No problem." said First and took his son in his arms. "Uncle Fiat, will you be wearing that next year too?" asked Min excitedly and Fiat nodded. The young man missed a year because of his accident. He is now able to walk again without crutches or a walker and is no longer in pain, but he still limps a little bit. "Will I be wearing something like that soon?" Min asked curiously and played with the ribbon on his Por Khaos robe. "Soon. Soon, but that will take a few years. First you'll be going to school next year, my darling." "How many years will it be until I can go to university ?" "A little over fifteen years, Minnie, and that's a good thing because I don't want you to grow up too quickly." said First and gave the little one a kiss on the cheek. "Okay, ready for the photo? 3... 2... 1..."

"There they are!" Satang shouted and ran over to Khao to pull him into his arms. "Khao, I can't believe it. We're standing here together and graduating. I feel like we only met yesterday.." Satang said and started to cry. "Ohooo, he's been so sentimental all day." Mix said and patted him on the back. "God, he's probably going to be bridezilla soon." Mark said, laughing, which made the others laugh too. "Shut up..." "Have you finally found a location for your wedding?" Khao asked and Satang nodded. "We have the one Satang wanted at first, but then decided against it because it was too white. But now it's just right and he really wants it, so we're getting married two months later." Winny explained. "I understand." "So we should decide for a location early enough if we're both going to get married, got it." First said and grinned.
"Hey guys, another question but is our dinner still happening today?" asked Mix. "Of course." The others said and Mix began to smile weirdly. "Oh, then why haven't any of you idiots answered my messages?" "When?" asked First and Mix sighed. "Last night." "Oh we're both out, you can't be mad at us. We're parents, we don't check our phones anymore after six o'clock in the evening." "I was at my grandma's in the cemetery with p'Winny." "I was sitting next to you, you know my answer, you know that I will follow you everywhere you go babe." said Earth and Mix' gaze stopped on Mark. "And what's your excuse?" "Listen Mix - I can explain it." said Mark and the friends started to laugh. "Okay students, please take your seats." said the director over a loud intercom. Winny gave his boyfriend a good luck kiss before he left the group to go sit down with all the other guests.
The friends were all sitting together. First and Khao, who were holding hands tightly, sat at the very end. The moment was so surreal. They had finished university. Now they would really start their future together. Several teachers were standing on the large grandstand and right at the front was the deputy director, who was calling the students so that they could receive their diploma from the director. Khao and First had asked for a little extra in advance, which was granted to them, but none of their friends knew.. It was going to be their perfect little moment.

"Khaotung Thanawat Rattanakitpaisan." His name was called and his friends and family cheered. His classmates, who also liked and appreciated him very much, clapped and were happy for the young man who walked up the steps and received his diploma from the principal. He shook the teachers' hands and stopped for a photo. But even after that he didn't get down from the stands. He just stood at the end of the stage, not really caring about the confused looks from his classmates.
"First Kanaphan Puitrakul." the woman called out and First stood up. According to the student number, it was someone else's turn, which confused the friends a little, but they also celebrated and cheered for their other friend, son and brother. First walked a bit, but stopped and waited briefly. His mother, who came running with Min-Joo in her arms, handed the little boy to his father, which initially surprised the other clueless students a little.
In all this time, the other students knew that Khao and First were a couple, but only a few teachers and closest confidants, and of course their friends knew about their son.
It took them a second to realize that it was their kid, but they then greeted the little boy with thunderous applause.
Min-Joo laughed and clapped and as First ran up the stairs, he waved to his uncles in the audience, which of course waved back. First let the little boy down and the boy didn't hesitate. He ran to the young man with a loud "por Khao!" which the teachers probably heard, since some of them giggled. Khao picked up his son and gave him a kiss on the cheek before turning back to the side and watching First receive his diploma. So many people clapped for First, but for the small family, only the three of them counted. First was fixated on Khaotung and Min-Joo. He had his photo taken and immediately ran over to the two and pulled Khaotung into his arms. Min-Joo was also drawn into the embrace, holding on to his por and por Khao and giggling as they turned slightly. "First, Khao..." said the young woman who was taking photos. The two let go of each other, Min-Joo now on Firsts arms. They stood close together and held their diplomas in the camera.
Another photo and the three were on their way downstairs, where they were already expected. Sun stood there with his arms outstretched to congratulate First and Khao. "I'm so proud of you, my boys." said Sun and Aof also congratulated the two before he took Min-Joo in his arms and walked to the side with Sun. Khao and First went back to their seats, holding hands and smiling widely.

"Oh my god.." said Mix. "You bitches, why didn't you tell us about this?" "I guess it was some kind of surprise." said First without really looking at Mix and finally gave Khaotung a kiss, but only on the cheek. "That was straight out of a boys love drama." Mix said dramatically and made a hand gesture as if he was seeing a vision in front of his eyes. "Maybe we should write a script?" Earth said and Mix nodded. "We make money from your love." Mix added and Khao and First nodded, laughing. "Satang, are you okay?" Khao asked his best friend, who was tightly embraced by Mark. Mark shook his head for the younger one. "He is anything but okay." He said. "Does anyone have a tissue? My robe is completely soaked with his tears." He laughed. "That... was... was so... so sweet! I can't believe that we won't... see each other every day anymore..." Satang sobbed. "Don't worry nong, we'll see each other often enough..." said Mark and now reality seemed to hit them all.

"My God, guys, you're not leaving the world." giggled Firsts mother. Satang seemed to have infected the others with his emotions. Mix, Satang and Khaotung stood in some kind of circle, clinging tightly to each other and sobbing. Even Mark, who usually acted so cool, lay crying in Earths arms.
"No, but this is the end of an era.." Mark sobbed. "We won't see each other every day.. We won't spend as much time together as we did before.." Earth added. "Guys, come on. You are still friends and you will see each other often." Sun said. "How often do you see your school friends?" asked Winny. "Every day." "I'm not talking about the school friend, who is obviously more than just a school friend." He said, grinning. "Well, Sun may not have the best example, but I still see my university friends regularly. Every other Saturday, despite the fact that three of them have children and one is traveling the world." Aof said, trying to cheer them up. "Now that's a statement." said Winny and nodded. "Really?" asked Satang, who was still hugging Khaotung and Mix tightly. "Yes, really. And now stop crying, today is a beautiful day. You should enjoy and celebrate your friendship guys." Aof said. Satang nodded and slowly let go of Khao and the others. "I love you guys so much." Mix said, making the others cry again. "I love you guys too !" Khao and Satang said.

"Hey First, can I talk to you for a minute?" asked Fiat and tapped his brother on the shoulder. "Sure..." said First, confused, and walked a little to the side with him. "I know this is going to sound really weird... Normally you give flowers at the end of the day, but..." Fiat held up a bag and handed it to First. "Look inside." he said, which his brother did. "Mama soup?" asked First and Fiat nodded. "You haven't forgotten?" asked the younger one. Slowly his eyes filled with tears and Fiat also had to fight his emotions. "Why would I forget our promise? We were nine, but I always remembered it." First nodded and pulled his brother into a hug. "Man, we were really weird." he said, laughing. "I mean, what nine-year-olds promise to eat Mama soup together on their university graduation day?" "You and me. That's us. We're both crazy." Fiat said, letting go of his brother. "First, I'm incredibly proud of you, I hope you know that." "Thanks Fiat." he said, still crying. "And now go back to your friends, Satang seems to be having a mental breakdown." said Fiat and shook his head with a grin. First listened to his brother, but before he got to the others, he turned around again. "Fiat?" "Yes?" "I love you." Fiat smiled broadly. "Errr, I love you too, nong."
"Guys, let's go, I'm starving !" Earth said once First was back with them. "Let's go." Mix added, holding his boyfriends hand tightly. "I can't wait to eat your mothers papaya salad!" Winny said, trying to calm down his fiancé.

Fiat watched as his brother and his friends slowly left. He couldn't help but smile. "Babe ?" His girlfriend interrupted him. "Your parents are waiting for us." She said and Fiat nodded. "I'm coming." He said, grabbing her hand.
