🌙Big news.

Fiat and Lilly were lying in bed. It was only just after 9, but the young couple was tired from work. The doorbell rang unexpectedly. The two weren't asleep yet, but neither of them really wanted to get up and talk to whoever. But the doorbell rang and rang. "Rock, paper, scissors, who's going?" "I'm going anyway. I'm not letting you go to the door alone at this time, Lilly. Especially not in that state." The young woman, who was dressed in her short pajamas, nodded and Fiat stood up. The doorbell continued to ring and when he stood at the door and saw through the peephole that First and Khao were standing in front of the door, a bottle of champagne in their hands, he opened it and looked at the two of them in confusion. "Don't tell me you were already in bed ?" said First. "Of course I was. I was at work, I'm tired." said Fiat, but when Khaotung held up his hand, his eyes grew wider. "You're engaged?!" he asked and suddenly Lilly was standing at the door, pulled Khaotungs hand closer and looked at the jewel. "Oh my god?!" she said loudly and pulled both boys into her arms. "Congratulations!" she called out loudly. "Do mae and por know yet?" "No, it was important to me that you were the first person to know." said First and finally fell into his brother's arms. "This has to be celebrated!" she said and ran into the bedroom to get changed. "Lilly..." Fiat said, but she ignored him. "Lilly, babe..." "What?" "Are you sure you want to celebrate like this?" he said and gave her a strange look, which she eventually understood. "Oh, really? Yes, of course, everything's fine." Fiat nodded and turned around to his brothers. "Give me five minutes. We're going to celebrate in a bar. Champagne isn't enough." he said and finally ran into the bedroom to get ready.

"I mean.. sure he had already announced this at WinnySatangs wedding, but that he would propose to me just a week later..." said Khaotung and smiled. Lilly was standing at the bar and gave her orders and came hopping back shortly afterwards. "She'll bring us the drinks right away." she said and all three nodded. "Let's me take a look at it again." she said to Khao and grabbed his hand. "I'm happy for you. Very happy." said Fiat and looked at the two seriously.

Once the waitress came to their desk, they stopped talking. "So here are your drinks... Whiskey and coke?" she asked and Fiat made a brief gesture with his hand. "Caipirinha and Long Island?" Khao and First accepted the drinks and finally the woman served Lilly an orange juice. "Juice?" asked First, confused, because he knew Lillys drinking stories well. She drank them all under the table without batting an eye. "First..." said Lilly.. "We wanted to tell you something, but somehow it feels wrong now.. We don't want to ruin your moment.." "No, come on, you scare me." he said and Khaotung was worried too. "Well guys uhm.." "Please, just tell us. Is everything okay ?" "Yes. It's perfect actually. Guys, I'm pregnant." "HUH ?!" First and Khao looked at them with their eyes wide open. "Pregnant ?!" Khaotung said and slowly, he began to smile. "You're pregnant ?" First asked again and both of them nodded. "Oh my god !" First said happily. "I am so happy for you !" "Thank you guys." "Did you tell mae and por already ?" "No, I wanted you to be the first to know about it." First smiled at his brother. "Thank you so much. I am.. so happy for you guys."
"That was really the last thing I expected." said Khao, smiling, and the other three agreed. "It wasn't planned, no, but we're more than happy." "So Mae and Por's wish for a big family is coming true after all." Fiat laughed, and First nodded. "How far are you ?" "Almost the fourth month. We only found out recently, because I was still getting my period for a while. At least that's what I thought..." "Fourth month already? Wow, I'm so happy for you." "Our son will have Min-Joo to look up to." said Fiat, looking at First and Khao. "Are you having a son?" Lilly nodded. "I'm really looking forward to seeing our son grow up to be a great little boy like your Min-Joo." she said, and Khao had tears in his eyes for a moment.
"Then I guess there are two things to celebrate today!" First said. "I really didn't want to steal your moment." said Lilly, but the two immediately shook their heads. "You didn't steal a moment from us! We are a family and we are so happy that you told us about it." "Thank you First, thank you Khao." "Then... to your engagement." said Fiat and raised his glass. "To your pregnancy." said First and the others also raised their glasses to toast.

"I can't believe it." said Lilly as she and Fiat entered their apartment again. It was half past four in the morning and the two of them had never thought that they would be in a bar for so long again in the near future. "First and Khao are engaged. I'm so happy for them both." "Me too." said Fiat and hugged his girlfriend, his hands resting directly on her belly. "When are you finally going to say yes to me ?" he asked and Lilly turned around. "I already said yes to you." "You know what type of yes I mean, baby." Fiat said and Lilly nodded. "I love you Fiat and we're going to get married as soon as our son is here. But I want to finish my training and be able to invest at least as much in our wedding as you do. I don't want you or our parents to carry everything on their own." Fiat nodded. "Okay." he said and kissed Lilly on the forehead. "I'll go write to my boss that I can't come today." he said and his girlfriend nodded. "That's right, I should do that too." she replied and reached for her phone to sort everything out before she and Fiat lay back down in bed and fell asleep.

I am so happy that First and Fiat made up. I hated it to write about them fighting all the time 🫠
