The sun hadn't even reached its peak, and already the streets were alive with tension. The Jeons and Kims—two names that carried centuries of hatred—still couldn't exist in the same space without blood boiling.

On one side of the crowded marketplace stood Jimin, sleeves rolled up, eyes sharp with mischief, his friend Taehyung leaning casually against a wall beside him. They looked like they had just been waiting for trouble to show itself.

It didn't take long.

From the other side, Mingyu approached with a few of his men—your cousin, infamous for his sharp tongue and even sharper temper. He hated the Montagues with every fiber of his being. The moment his eyes landed on Jimin, the sneer formed instantly.

"Well, if it isn't the Kim dogs," Mingyu spat, cracking his knuckles. "Didn't your fathers ever teach you to stay in your part of the city?"

Taehyung smirked, straightening. "Funny, I was about to ask if you were lost, Jeon. Must've taken a wrong turn from the pigsty."

Jimin laughed low, tilting his head. "Careful, Tae. He might actually start crying if you insult him too much."

Mingyu stepped closer, fury flashing in his eyes. The crowd around them began to thin, merchants quietly pulling their carts away—they'd seen this before. The Jeons and Kims never ended with just words.

"You've got a loud mouth for someone who hides behind his family's name," Mingyu growled, shoving Jimin hard in the chest.

Jimin staggered back a step but only grinned wider. "And you've got strong arms for someone who never wins a fight."

That was it—the spark that set off the fire. Mingyu swung first, a fist aimed at Jimin's jaw. Taehyung jumped in instantly, tackling one of Mingyu's men to the ground. The street erupted into chaos—punches, shouts, bodies colliding.

The Jeons–Kims feud was alive and burning, and this fight was just the latest proof that peace was a word neither family cared to learn.

It hadn't even been an hour before shaky phone footage of the Jeon–Kim fight had gone viral. Clips of Jimin and Taehyung throwing punches, Mingyu shouting curses, and the chaos spilling across the market filled every news feed. Anchors replayed it with scandal in their voices:

"Another public disturbance between the Jeons and the Kims—families whose long-standing feud continues to plague the city."

By late afternoon, the men were hauled into the chief of police's office.

The room was tense, air heavy with restrained anger. Mr. Kim Seongmin, your father, sat stiffly, jaw tight, his nephew Mingyu slouched beside him, still bristling from the fight. Across from them, Mr. Jeon Hyunwoo, Jungkook's father, leaned back with arms folded, his nephew Jimin shifting uneasily next to him, Taehyung—Jimin's closest friend—hovering at his side.

Behind the desk, the Chief of Police slammed a file shut, his voice echoing like a gavel.

"This nonsense ends here." His eyes swept the room with fire. "The streets belong to the people—not your petty feud. This is the third time in six months that chaos has erupted because of you."
