Jungkook's car rumbled softly in the quiet night as he pulled up in front of your house. The warmth of the date still lingered between you, your fingers idly tracing patterns on your lap as you turned to face him.

"Thanks for today," you murmured, a soft smile tugging at your lips.

Jungkook leaned back against his seat, his hand gripping the wheel loosely, but his gaze on you was firm. "Anytime, baby," he said, voice laced with affection. "You know I'd do anything for you."

Your heart swelled at his words, and before you could even think, you leaned forward, pressing a lingering kiss to his lips. He smiled against you, deepening it just slightly, his fingers brushing against your cheek as if memorizing every inch of you.

With one last glance, you stepped out of the car, your stomach fluttering with warmth as you made your way toward the house. Just as you reached for the door handle, a voice called out from the porch.

"Who was that?"

Your body stiffened slightly, recognizing the familiar voice of your older brother, Josh. He stood with his arms crossed, eyes sharp despite the dim porch light.

You inhaled deeply before answering, trying to keep your tone even. "My boyfriend," you admitted, turning to face him properly. "I was actually going to introduce you two soon—"

"Go to your room."

The command came sharp and immediate, cutting off your words entirely.

You blinked. "What?"

"Just go," he repeated, his tone firm, leaving no room for argument.

You hesitated for a second, confusion settling in, but you didn't push it. Instead, you nodded slowly and made your way inside, brushing off the unease creeping up your spine.

Slipping into your room, you let out a small sigh, shutting the door behind you. The warmth from the night's memories quickly overpowered any tension as you collapsed onto your bed, smiling to yourself.

Your mind drifted back to Jungkook—his touch, his voice, the way he looked at you like you were his entire world.

You replayed every moment of your date, every laugh shared, every kiss stolen, completely unaware of the storm that was brewing outside your door.

The evening breeze was gentle as you both sat on the hood of his car, staring at the sky. The stars twinkled faintly, but nothing shined as brightly as the warmth in Jungkook's eyes when he turned to look at you.

"Do you realize it's been a year since we met?" he asked, his voice soft yet laced with something deeper—nostalgia, maybe, or something more profound.

Your lips parted slightly, surprised. "A year?"

He nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "Yeah. One whole year since you crashed into my life and turned everything upside down."

You chuckled, nudging him lightly. "Oh, please. If anything, you crashed into mine."

Jungkook grinned, but then his expression softened. "I don't regret it."

His words made your heart clench, the sincerity in his voice settling deep in your chest. "Neither do I," you whispered.

For a moment, there was just silence—the kind that didn't need to be filled. He reached for your hand, intertwining his fingers with yours. Then, as if the past year had been leading up to this very moment, he brought your hand to his lips, pressing a slow, lingering kiss to your knuckles.
