"Jisoo, you look sooo beautiful!" you practically yelled, pulling her into a hug the moment you spotted her near the entrance of the auditorium.
She laughed, squeezing you back. "Speak for yourself, girl. You look like you're the bride!"
You pulled back, scoffing. "Oh please. My mom hit her head or something this morning and actually let me skip class for this wedding. I had like ten minutes to throw something on."
Jisoo raised a brow, clearly amused. "So all that crying and begging finally paid off, huh?"
"Oh yes. I basically gave her a five-act performance last night. Think I deserve an Oscar." You grinned, twirling dramatically.
She giggled. "Well, you look amazing, even if it was rushed."
You looped your arm through hers. "Enough about me. Where's Jin oppa? Let's go say hi to the man of the hour."
"He's probably already sweating in the fitting room. Let's go crash his peace," she said, and the two of you headed off, laughing like you owned the place.
You both silently entered the fitting room as Jin was surrounded by people—some you knew, most you didn't—as he nervously flipped through a small note, clearly practicing his vows.
Just then, someone rushed into the room, moving quickly through the crowd and stopping right in front of Jin.
"Hyung, your entry's in five minutes," he said, patting Jin's back.
Jin gave a tight nod, and as the guy turned to leave, your eyes met.
Only for a second.
He was in a rush—clearly had somewhere to be, or something to do—but that one second hit like a full minute.
That face.
He was so beautiful. Or hot. Or whatever word could possibly describe that. The kind of handsome that actually made your jaw drop slightly, and you didn't even realize it until you felt yourself blinking to break out of it.
"Who is he?" you whispered to Jisoo without looking away.
"Oh, that's Jungkook. He's our cousin—you've heard of aunty Mira, right?"
You nodded silently, eyes still slightly wide.
The crowd around Jin had cleared up a little by now, so you made your way to him.
"Happy wedding, oppa," you said with a small smile.
Jin looked up and smiled warmly. "Thank you, Y/N."
"Where were you?" your mother asked as you finally slid into the seat beside her.
"I went to see Jin oppa," you said, settling in. "He looks handsome. Nervous, but handsome."
Your mom gave a small smile, her eyes still scanning the decorated hall.
You took a moment to glance around too—the music had softened, people were slowly filling their seats, and the energy in the room buzzed with excitement.
