"So, just to be clear, you are seeing Sideswipe right?" My best friend Liv asked as I was wiping the table beside her.She had just finished taking away the dirty dishes that were left on it before coming back to wipe down another table as well.
I sighed as I finished and stood up facing her. She had asked if I wanted to come down and help her today, seeing as it was a slower day and we needed to catch up. Who was I to say no to my other half. And free coffee.
It was also hard to explain the situation that I was in to her, without giving anything away. Man I wanted to tell her and I think I might, just not right now. This wasn't the place either, and it'd have to be away from everyone, cybertronian and human.
"Yes." I answered back simply while shrugging my shoulder.
"But his brother has a thing for you too?" She continued with a raised brow.
"Yup." I said as I walked behind the counter and threw the cloth in the sanitizer bin.
"And they're both okay 'sharing' you and you're okay with two men? Like is this a thruple thing?" She asked another question following me to stand behind the till.
I huffed a breath out and tucked a piece of hair behind my ear before adjusting my baseball cap.
"I mean I guess...? It's really complicated and I want to tell you everything...I just can't. Not yet." I told her looking her in the eyes.
She could tell that I was being honest with her and nodded her head. That's one of the many reasons why I loved her so much. She understood me and knew when to not push certain things.
"Okay. I mean as long as you're happy and they're not hurting you I guess I'm good with it. But I haven't even seen his brother." She stated picking at her nails now.
That's true, she had yet to meet Sunny. I'd say I could introduce her to him today, but he was at the base. Along with his brother. Don't even get me started on that. Trying to convince them that I would be fine in the town was hard enough. They only agreed to it because Ron said he would drop me off and pick me up when I was done, but even then.
"He's like his brother, well they are twins, but he's more broody and 'bad boy' type. Doesn't speak much either." I said to her giving her an idea of what he was like.
She hummed and nodded her head along. Just as she was about to say something though ,the doorbell rang out and we both turned to the entrance.
I swallowed as I saw who walked in, whereas Liv smiled and bumped her hip into mine. She was completely unaware of the danger that just waltzed in.
"It's mister cute cop. You better tell him you're taken now. I'll let you two be!" She said quickly while waving and turning around, disappearing into the back kitchen.
I didn't really want to be alone with him, but if she wasn't here she was safe and that's all that mattered right now.
I leaned on the counter and propped my head up in my hands, watching as he came to a stop right in front of me. No way was I going to show him I was slightly scared right now. And I mean can you blame me? Last time we saw each other there was a giant robot fight!
I felt my heart drop slightly as he leaned on the counter too, copying my position and looking me dead in the eyes.
"Been a while Laura." He said smoothly, his eye flickering all over my face.
"Yea, well getting in the middle of a giant robot fight might have had something to do with that." I said scratching at the chipped wood that was the counter.
