I gripped onto the seat tightly as Sideswipe sped and manoeuvred around debris following his brother.

I let out a small yelp as shots flew by us and Sides laughed. I stared down at the radio.

"Why are you laughing?!" I shouted at the console.

"You're kind of adorable when you're scared. I get to be the knight in shining armour, it's fun!" He said back swerving out of the way of a blast.

"Well I'm glad you find this amusing." I said sarcastically letting go of the seats as we burst through the dust cloud and headed out of the battle.

I turned in my seat to look back at the fighting that was still going on and sighed.

"Why were you out there Laura? Usually when people see fighting they run in the opposite direction." Sides spoke as we turned down a road.

"Well I'm not most people I guess." I answered back bringing my hand up to my cap and adjusting it.

"I was running from Cade. Getting him away from Liv and her family." I mumbled out gently placing my hands on the steering wheel now.

"What? He was there? He was chasing you!?" He raised his voice slightly and sped up.

"I thought Jazz would've told you?" I answered back with a confused look on my face.

"He didn't." Was his simple reply.

"Came in acting all nonchalant like nothing has happened. Then I went outside after the first blast and he followed before doing that disappearing thing and transforming. I caught a glimpse of the blue and red semi truck and ran for it. Figured it was my best option." I explained to him as we pulled onto my road.

"I'm sorry I wasn't there. That we weren't there to help." He said quietly.

I patted the wheel lightly. "Don't worry about it. That was supposed to be Ron's job, what happened?"

Sideswipe let out a sigh as he pulled into the driveway to my uncles house.

"He's the one that commed us all, got ambushed by four cons and managed to send out a signal before it was too late. We got there as fast as we could, but the Decepticons always gotta blow something up." Sides said as he put the car in park beside his brother. Sunny's car looked like it was shaking with rage. Well this can't be good.

I went to open the door but it remained locked and I looked at it confused.

"Sunny is going to most likely loose it, so don't take anything he says to heart hunny okay? And I'll be right here if you need me, but he just wants to talk to you first." Sideswipe told me before unlocking the door and gently swinging it open for me.

I cleared my throat and nodded my head before patting the door and stepping out.

I rounded the front of his car and stopped, turning to look at the golden car that had stopped shaking and was still. I could literally feel him staring at me if that was possible.

I crossed my arms and leaned the back of my legs on the front of Sideswipe for some comfort.

The golden door suddenly popped up and Sunny stepped out with a pissed off look on his face. His glare settling on me.

He gestured with his hands for me to stand up off of Sideswipe and I raised a brow.

"Off him. Now." He spoke gruffly.

I scoffed and shook my head. "Excuse me?"

"Get off him now. I'm trying very, very hard here Laura." He growled out and stood right in front of me.
