He clenched his jaw. He turned her towards him holding her shoulder and was about to say but all his words died down his throat as soon as his captured the sight of her face.
His heart broke taking the sight. Though the rain was pouring and cascading down her face but he could differentiate between the water and her tears.
It's first time he saw her crying and knowing he is the reason behind her tears, it broke him more.
''You are crying.''
She looked away from him. He closed his eyes taking a deep breath.
''Diyanshi, I had told you right on the first day itself that I can not love you. I am incapable of that feeling.''
''I know and I remember. But tell me one thing Anvith, did I for once asked you to love me back?? I just confessed my feelings to you.''
He looked down. She cupped his face in her hand and make him look into her eyes.
''Anvith I didn't ask you that you have to fall in love with me too. I know that there is something that is stopping you. And I am not asking you to tell me now. But I know oneday you will surely tell me. And I promise you will find me just beside you whenever you feel like you want to tell me.''
He could see the sincerity in her eyes, her voice. He never told her anything about him but how did she know him, how did she understood what his words fail to convey, how did everytime she just knew what he wants, what he needs, what he wants to say everything. Does she love him that much?
''Anvith I love you. Mein apse mohabbat karti hoon. Agar ap kabhi bhi mujhse pyaar nehi kar paye to thik hain, that's okay. Koi zabardasti nehi hain. Mera pyaar hum dono ke liye kaafi hai Anvith. Iss riste mein apke hisse ka pyaar bhi mein hi de dungi bas ap mere saath rahiye. Mujhe aur kuch nehi chahiye Anvith bas apka saath chahiye. Please don't ignore me like this again. I can bear anything but your ignorance. It hurts so much Anvith. Please..'' She end up crying hysterically at the end.
He immediately hugged her tightly. His own eyes became watery seeing how much he had hurt her unintentionally. He just wanted to distance himself from her not knowing how much his actions would hurt her. His heart was breaking seeing her tears.
'' I am sorry. I am extremely sorry chipmunk. I didn't think my actions would hurt you this much. I never wanted to hurt you. I am so sorry. '' He muttered to her while placing a kiss on her temple. More tears started to pour out of her eyes after having him close to her heart again.
''Now, please stop crying. I can't see your tears. I promise I will never ignore you from now. Please stop crying.'' He said caressing her back of head. She hugged him more tightly.
''Chipmunk, let's go inside. The rain is getting heavy as the time passing. Don't know from when you are drenching yourself. You will fall ill if continue.'' He was saying while he felt her weight getting leaned on him completely.
He separated themselves only to see she had fainted. His eyes widened and a strange feeling run through his heart.
''Chipmunk!!! Chipmunk!!''
''Diyanshi, open your eyes.'' He said tapping her cheeks. Seeing her giving no response he picked her up in bridal style and went inside.
Seeing none of Diyanshi or Anvith, Kavita send Avinav to look for them. He was about to knock on their door when he heard footsteps. He looked at the side only to widened his eyes.
''Bhabhi ma!?!? Bhai what happened to bhabhi ma? Aur ap dono aise bheeg kaise gaye?''
''She fainted. Nav, call the doctor fast.''
