They both were lying under the covers after making love. More like Anvith was sleeping but Diyanshi was wide awake staring at the ceiling which was filled with phosphorescent stars glowing in the dark.
Her mind was again and again replaying the message she saw on his phone. Her brain was caught in a blizzard from the moment she had read those words.
''Apni biwi ke sath jitna waqt bitana hai bitale.kya pata kal mouka mile ya na mile.You have destroyed me now it's my turn to destroy you. It's your the end Anvith Veer Singh Rajvansh.''
It was from an unknown number. She had immediately used her source to know everything about the number and the sender.
'Viren Jaiswal'
She can easily dig about him but she didn't want to. She wanted to know the matter from Anvith. He was hiding something from her. What if it's turned out to be something dangerous for him.
''Kya hua? Tum abhi tak soyi kyu nehi? Kya soch rahi ho?'' He asked sleepily seeing her wide awake.
''Do you trust me, Veer?" She asked taking him off guard at sudden odd question.
''Of course. Yeh bhi koi puch ne ki baat hai. I trust you more than myself.''
She turned towards him and asked,
''Who is Viren Jaiswal,Veer?"
He looked at her shocked. He didn't expect her to ask him this question. He was totally taken off guard by her.
''Why he is sending you threat messages?" She asked showing him the phone.
''Is this by any chance related to your past?"
He looked away from her. She understood that it is. She cupped his cheek and made him look at her.
''Veer, I don't know what happened to you past? But I know it must be something painful and heart wrenching. Veer, I am your partner. Your part.I want to be with you not only in your happiness but also in your sadness.''
''I know it would be painful for you to again relive those haunted memories but if you don't let go of the past, of the pain, it will eat you from inside. It will suffocate you more. Neither I forced you before not I am forcing you now to tell me.''
''If you want to let it go then I am here. To listen to your pain. Main apki dard ko mita to nehi paungi par use kam karne ki koshish zaroor karungi. I am always here for you, Veer.'' She said softly.
He hugged her tightly burying his face in her neck. She caressed his head to comfort him.
''I was then 6 years old when all this happened. You know, Chipmunk, my mumma was my world. We were very happy; Me, mumma and Papa. We were happy in our small world. But everything changed oneday.''
He started saying while his face was still in her neck. He was inhaling her scent to calm himself down.
Flashback
''Veer, bachcha pehle yeh kha lo phir khelna". Anya Vikram Singh Rajvansh requested her 6 year old son who was running here and there.
''Mumma, mujhe bhuk nehi hai. Mujhe kuch khane ka mann nehi kar raha.'' Little Anvith replied.
''Anu, don't force him. He was not well Yesterday.'' Vikram said picking up his son on his back. Anvith wrapped his hands around his father's neck and legs around his waist. He loves when his father gave him piggyback ride.
As usual everyone had their dinner with chatting and talking.
''We are going to sleep. Aj kuch jyada hi neend aa rahi hai.'' Vikrant said yawning.
