This is a very important update- I've been gone so long because of personal issues regarding my own health, the loss of a pet, and due to the news that my Mother had brain cancer. It was about a week from Thanksgiving last year that she had been diagnosed, and this was a tumor that they've never seen before. I was scared to death- My whole Family was. She had a biopsy done, and she was honestly on the brink of death. Couldn't breathe on her own. She has Multiple Sclerosis, and this was a very dangerous procedure for her to go through. My Dad had spent several nights with her in hospital because he was scared that something could've happened to her if he wasn't there. After some very heated exchanges with an employee who had cancelled my Mother's surgery to remove the tumor - which was supposed to be December 12th -She finally got to go in after weeks of pain and suffering due to the amount of sheer pain in her head. To make the situation a bit lighter, she named her tumor "Herb", but she was so scared to go into surgery. I'll never forget the goodbye she gave me before going in. Thankfully, the surgery was a success, and she recovered perfectly. She went through several weeks of radiation, and I can finally say that she's completely cancer free! I'm so proud of her for getting through this! My Mom's such a strong Woman, and I'm so proud of her!

And this is Cancer-Carl, my Mom's radiation buddy! She took him with her to radiation, and she likes to give him glasses. Her cancer name was BRAF-600, a rare type of brain cancer that surgeons have little knowledge about, but the surgeon was so nice, and he assured us that the cancer is treatable if it ever comes back, but there's a slim chance of it returning. I'm just so very proud of my Mom!
