Bad dreams

{Two days later}
Jess' PoV:
I was awaken by a soft hand tapping my shoulder gently and calum whispering in my ear.
"How are you this morning?"
He asked his morning voice evident and making me smile.

I never really ask if he's okay,Calums the strong one out of us two.Its usually him who asks.

"Good"i told him as I rolled over to look at him,his chocolate eyes glued to me.
"You sure about that?"Calum stated pulling a funny face to make me smile.

"Yes Calum"i reassured him as I stretched to wake myself up.
"We're at the beach house today"he told me with a grin.

"I know"you answered bluntly causing him to giggle before carrying on."and you know what that means"he smirked.
"Shut it hood"

"Just saying"he murmured climbing out of the bed.

With his presence gone i felt lost so got out of bed too and slipped on some sweat pants.
"Cal we need to go soon"you told him glancing down at the clock displayed on your phone showing 10:46.You two had to be leaving for 12.

"Let's get some breakfast then we can go,yeh?"

"Sure"i smiled back, excited for the weeks ahead.

"So Calum your driving: Jess,Michael and Caitlin?And Ashton your driving: Alicia,Luke and Cerys?"
Joy asked as we were all about to leave.

"Yes mum"

"Okay love you all and stay safe"she added squeezing everyone of us in a tight bare hug.
"By Joy"i told her waving of,
"Goodbye sweetheart, keep him safe...........Actually Jess can you come here for a minute please?"

I was just about to get in the car when Joy called that.As I walked over to her I felt Calum's protective gaze on me from behind."One minute calum"joy told him and i walked ever closer to her to hear what she had to say.

She looked me up and down for a moment, which made me feel uneasy.That was until she smiled then swiftly carried on.

"Jess are you okay?I mean.....not to intrude but I can tell Calum's been very worried about you lately.He's been calling your name in his sleep and not in a good way either.Calum was screaming your name the other night ,and I know he probably won't admit it but woke up crying.

After what I saw the other day which you probably didn't want me too,i don't know if I should be worried too.Does your mum know, About the other night?"

The worst thing right now would be for her to tell my mum that I've gone back to my old habit of hurting myself.Although I don't want anyone to worry ,not for me anyway.That's why I didn't tell calum.

"Oh...Joy look i'll talk to Calum and I'm sure this is a great time for him to relax.And me ,I'm fine I just need a little space away from here."

"Promise you'll come and talk to us if you need too"

"I promise Joy ,thank you"

I made my way back to the car and calum looked at me warily, before smiling.
"Hey"he said leaning over to kiss my cheek.
"Hi"i told him a slight smile.

"What was that about babe?Mum seemed upset."
"I'll tell you later it's not that important I promise"i kissed his cheek and looked out of the passenger side window.It was important, he can't be worrying about me when he has a tour coming up.

Calum needs to relax.

"I guess we'll go then"he sighed then asking "everyone ready?" Caitlin and michael replied then off we went.
