The next day Calum decided it was a good idea to wake me up by sitting on top of me.
Like I used to too him. Abruptly I opened my eyes and he looked down at me and kissed me.

"Morning beautiful."
"Morning cal I can't breath properly."
"Sorry babe."
He then moved so he was kneeling over me instead.A smile made its way on my face and I couldn't help it.This is the happiest I've been, ever.

"What time is it Cal?"
"11 I thought we could just stay in bed all day and watch movies."
"Great idea let me go get some food."

Just as I was about to go down stairs mum was walking up with a tray of muffins and juice.
"I thought you two would want some rest and to relax.So here."
She handed me the tray then went back downstairs.

On the tray where also some of my favourite films:
Perks of being a wallflower, if i stay, the fault in our stars, my girl, the book thief, Pocahontas, tangled and some that she picked out for Calum.

I brought the tray in the room and Calum was now back in my bed shirtless.
"That was quick."
"Mum got them."

When I gave Calum the tray I crawled back under the covers and ate my breakfast.
Both of us just ate for a while before Calum looked down at me and asked nervously ,
"Are you going to tell your dad?"
"He wouldn't even care Calum."
"Okay."

And as if on queue there was a loud banging on the front door.I new my mum had answered it when I heard nicks(dad) voice.

"Where the fuck is she?"
"Get out of my house."
Calum tensed beside me and he wrapped his arms around me tight.

Then there where loud footsteps clanging up the stairs, I felt a tear drip down my cheek but Calum quickly wiped it away.

"I'm not going to let him hurt you or your mum babe."I snuggled further into him then my door swung open.

Calum's grip tightened on me and he could tell I was scared as my heart beat rose and he could feel it.
"JESS GET UP."
"No!"
"GET OUT Of THAT FUCKING BED."
"LEAVE HER ALONE."Calum shouted angrily but I could also tell he was upset.

The covers where pulled of the bed fully.Everything falling on the floor.
Nick pulled on my leg trying to get me out but I kicked him away.Calum new if he let go of me I'd be out of the bed so he didn't.
But then he pulled really hard on my leg causing me to yelp in pain and slip out of Calum's grasp.

I was crying again now and Calum was trying desperately to get Nick away from me as he pinned me to the wall.
"YOUR TOO FUCKING YOUNGE AND YOR MY DAUGHTER.YOURE NOT GETTING ENGAGED YOU HORE"
"I DONT CARE ABOUT YOU."
"That was the wrong thing to say."he hissed lifting his hand as if to slap me.Calum took the opportunity though to take nicks hand and pulled it behind his back.

Then in anger Calum slammed him against the wall face first, clearly braking his nose.I could still see the rage in Calum's eyes as he turned him around and punched him a couple times in the face.

All I could do was stumble on to my window sill and cry.Trying to wipe those words from my mind.

"Thank you."I cried into his arms and he picked me up taking me down stairs.We checked on mum to make sure she was okay but she was slumped over the kitchen counter crying.

Quickly I ran over to her and hugged her.
"I couldn't do anything i'm so sorry darling."
"Mum we're okay but are you?"

She lifted her head up and I saw the slap mark across her face.
"Mum."I cried hugging her tight.Its not right to see her mother like that, the woman who's cared for her so much.All of it caused by a man who was supposed to love her.

"I'm calling the police."Calum said taking out his phone.
He did and they where here within minutes.

"Where is he?"the two male officers asked and Calum took them up to my room.
Joy and Mali where here now trying to comfort mum and I but both of us where in shock.

How could that low life pice of shit who's supposed to be my dad do something like that.All because I'm engaged to Calum and he knows we love each other.

Calum came back down the stairs and sat on the couch pulling me on his lap.
"They've arrested him then they're taking him to the hospital to treat his broken nose, cheek bone and jaw.But he's going to the sells after that."

"Good."
"Thank you son."Mum smiled weekly at him and I laid my head on his shoulder.
"Are you okay Cal?"
"My knuckles are a bit sore but your not are you?"

I shook my head and cried a little.
"I just don't get it.All because I'm engaged to you and I love you so much."
"Babe don't worry too much it's not your fault he's such a drunken idiot."
"Calum I love you."
"I love you too."he kissed me and held my cheek forgetting about his hand.

"I'll clean that up for you come on."
Softly I took his other hand as I new it was sore too and walked him to his house.I felt safer here that nothing bad could happen because it was Calum's home.

After I got the first aid kit I took out the: antiseptic wipes, tape for his cuts, and a bandage.
"This is going to hurt cal."I dapped the wipe over one of the cuts making him squeak a little.

"This doesn't hurt as much as nicks face does."I giggled kissing his cheek.
"Please don't mention that dick I'd rather forget about him."
"Okay."

When I had cleaned the three cuts on his hand I taped them before wrapping his hand in a bandage.
"Your good at this babe."
"Can't you remember when I did first aid training in school?"
"Oh yeh I gave up after a week."
"Yep you did and I'm done now."

He wiggled his fingers a little then took my hand.Calum then began playing with the ring on my finger a little smile on his face causing his cheeks to be chubby.

"I can't wait for our first Christmas together."
"Me neither Cal there's only 4 weeks why don't we put the tree up, your dads already done the lights."
"Oooh yeh I'll go get it out of the garage."

While Calum was getting the tree I went to see if mum, Mali and Joy where joining us.It might cheer her up seen as we always stay at Calum's for Christmas anyway.

She had freshened up and the three of them where sat on the sofa.
"We are decorating the tree do you want to join us."

"Sure."

After we all decorated the tree like we have every other year, Calum decided he was going to give me a piggy back.
"Babe you put the star on."

Mali handed it to me and I reached up shuffling further up his back.
"There we go."
Smiling when I put it on afterwards Calum put me back on the floor and pulled me closer to his chest.

Everyone was happy again and i felt so special there wrapped in Calum's embrace.

"It's perfect."Joy smiled and turned to my mum.
"Why don't you two stay from now till Christmas?Jess can stay with Calum and you can have the spare room."
"We'd love too."
