BELLAMY AND ENZO WERE WAITING FOR IVY TO WAKE UP. She was lying in a bed in the Medbay. They had managed to put out the fire and work on fixing everything in the Ark. However, they had to bring the generator to Raven to fix, and if they did not, they would not be able to fix the Ark in time for Praimfaya.
"She likes you," Enzo blurted out. It was the first thing that either of them had said to one another. They had just been sitting there in silence for what felt like forever as they waited for her to open her eyes. She had been out for almost a day because Clarke had given her some pretty heavy sedatives when they got back in there.
Bellamy looked up at the boy, shocked, and he seemed like he was not sure that the Escobar was speaking to him, despite the fact that there was no one else in the room with them except for the girl in the bed. "What?"
"She likes you. I saw her leaving your room the other night, and I didn't even know she could smile that big," he chuckled out, but then, all of a sudden, his face got serious. It was kind of scaring the Blake man. Enzo leaned forward and told him, "What I'm trying to say is, don't break her heart."
"I couldn't do that," Bellamy scoffed. Ivy did not like him that much. They were just having a little bit of fun. Sure, he knew that she loved him as a friend and would do anything for him just like he would for her, but he did not have the power to break her heart that way.
"Yes, you could. You might not think that you can break her, but you can. She's tough, but she really likes you. So, if you can't promise me that your heart is in this and that you won't leave, then you have to break it off," Enzo explained, and slowly, Bellamy was starting to realized that maybe he was in over his head. The Escobar boy sighed and ran a hand through his hair. He looked over at his best friend, knowing how much it would hurt her if Bellamy broke it off, but it would hurt her more if it happened after a couple of months or a year or a few years. She would hate him for saying all of that, but it needed to be said. "If you keep this going and then leave, you will almost kill her."
There was a loud groan, and they looked over to see Ivy beginning to wake up. As she opened her eyes, they immediately landed on the boy to her left. She groaned out, "Enzo. What happened?"
