THEY WERE GETTING READY TO LEAVE ONCE EVERYTHING WAS FIGURED OUT. However, Bellamy walked into the room without Raven, who was supposed to be with him. He acted like he did not know that she was missing and like they wouldn't notice that she wasn't there. He just grabbed his helmet. "All right, let's do this."
"Where the hell is she?" Echo asked, and they were all looking at him with equally confused expressions, awaiting his answer because they were not about to leave without Raven.
He sighed, and Ivy wondered why the hell he didn't see the question coming. They were obviously going to ask. Raven was their friend, and they were not about to leave her on a ship with an army of miners that were possibly in the process of waking up. He answered, "It's techincal, but, um, someone has to run things from here."
"So let it be John," Emori offered, and that caused Murphy's face to drop ever-so-slightly just for a second. Ivy was the only one that noticed it, and she placed her hand on his shoulder for a moment. He seemed more hurt by the fact that the woman that he used to love was so willing to leave him behind than the thought of being left behind.
Bellamy's eyes lingered on Ivy's hand as it rested on the man's back, but he shook it off quickly, rejected the previously suggested idea. "I said it's techincal."
"I'll do it," Monty volunteered, and he was already getting ready to leave when Harper pulled him back. Ivy would one hundred percent offer to stay, but she knew close to nothing about the technology. She would end up screwing up the plan.
"Enough. It has to be Raven. Once we have a truce, she'll come down with the prisoners," the Blake man ordered, making sure that they understood that she would be fine. Ivy was wary to just take his word, though. "If we fail, she'll take the ship's escape pod. Either way, she will be fine."
Emori was clearly freaking out about the idea of having to fly and land the ship on her own since she almost killed them on the last one even with Raven's help, and she told them, "If I'm flying solo, she'll be the only one."
"I'm staying, too," Murphy announced, and Ivy looked up at him with a surprised look as he moved over to stand by the door. He explained, "Look, Raven might need backup." He looked around at all of their shocked faces and continued, "What? With Emori flying, this is the survivor's move. See you on the other side."
