OCTAVIA WAS STILL ALIVE, WHICH WAS REALLY GOOD. Ivy was standing with Bellamy and Kane outside the throne room, trying to see what was happening. They were pretty high up, so they could see most of the battlefield. But there was still a lot of places for people to hide and concealed places that were not visible from their spot.
Ivy had a lot of time to think during the fight, and she realized that the last words that she had said directly to Bellamy were 'I love you.' She desperately wanted to just say something random so that those were not the last words that she had said to him, but she was too embarrassed to do anything. How the hell could she get so drunk that she had an outburst like that? She had never said the 'L' word to anyone like that, and it was freaking her out.
And of course, she knew that Bellamy did not love her back. That was the most heartbreaking and embarrassing part of it all. She had spent months being in love with him, and as soon as she had a chance, she blew it by catching feelings. She could not believe herself. That never happened to her. It had always been the other way around.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the Blake man's voice. She had been looking at the arena, but she was spaced out and did not actually comprehend anything. He told them, "Blue cliff warrior just killed him with a bow. I just saw it."
"So?" Ivy asked, and she mentally cheered because she had spoken to him. She wanted to punch the air, but that sounded really weird and totally not cool.
He turned around and walked back inside, and he explained as they followed him, wondering what the hell had got him so worried. "So, we saw her before the fight. She didn't have a bow. She had two swords."
"Yeah, the corvo blades. Well, she could have picked up a bow off the battlefield," Kane suggested. It was true. There had been a couple of people that went in with bows, and she could have gotten it from one of them or found it somewhere. Both he and Ivy frowned when they noticed that Bellamy had frozen in place. "What is it?"
"Echo's gone," he answered, and he spun on his heel and immediately headed toward the door. The other two jogged after him, and Kane grabbed his shoulder before he could go anywhere or get them disqualified. The younger man rolled his shoulder so that Kane let go of it and reminded them, "My sister is down there. Echo is cheating, and I'm gonna stop her."
