A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER, IVY WAS WITH BELLAMY, CLARKE, AND JAHA. They were searching for some bunker that Jaha had read about, and it was apparently how people survived the previous Praimfaya other than shooting themselves into space. They came to a stop in the Rover and climbed out. It was dark, and they would have to travel on foot from that point on.
"Cadogan learned how to survive from his father. They hunted in these woods," Thelonius explained to them. He pulled out the screen that he had been reading on, and there was a picture on it. He held it up in front of them, and the scenery in the picture lines up with that around them somehow, despite it being a hundred years and a radiation wave later. "This is it."
They stared at the place in front of them, scared that whatever they were going to find was not something that they wanted to. Bellamy sighed, and, knowing what they were all thinking, assured them, "Well, if anyone's entitled to a lucky break, we are."
"You hear that? No insects," Jaha commented, and there was a smile on his face for some reason. However, the other three all made eye contact with each other, knowing that that was not good. Earlier that morning, Luna had shown up at Arkadia with what was left of her people, and they were all sick. "What?"
"Luna said the fish were dying. What happened to us deserving a lucky break?" Ivy groaned out, looking over at the Blake man. "So what are we looking for?" she questioned, her eyes shifting to Jaha after they had been trained on Bellamy for a bit too long.
Jaha thought about it for a moment before informing them, "The Bunker would have been at the lowest point. Anything structural. Be careful." They nodded, and the two girls went one way while the men went another, shining their flashlights on every inch of land, searching for a sign.
"Have you come up with a system of how you're going to make the list?" Ivy questioned, raiding her eyebrows at the girl beside her. They had been made aware recently that the Ark would only be able to hold a hundred people. They needed to come up with a list of who will be let in based on a number of factors. Clarke shook her head. Ivy paused for a moment before sighing, "Can you make sure Enzo's on it?"
