THEY WAITED AS STILL AS POSSIBLE UNTIL NIGHTFALL. Ivy had never been so bored and terrified at the same time. She waited impatiently as the sun set and the moon rose, and she breathed out a sigh of relief when Bellamy spoke up.

"Okay, it's dark enough. Next time it passes, we go," he informed them, and Ivy nodded, even though he could not see her. The light moving back and forth landed on them for a moment before moving on, and they jumped into action. "We're clear. Come on." However, Octavia had different plans. "O, O, what are you doing?"

She had picked a gun up off the ground and was getting ready to fire. Both of the others' eyes widened as she called to them, "We'll never make it past those lights. Grab a rifle. There's two right there."

"As soon as you pull that trigger, we're dead. Come on. We can do this," Bellamy told her. He was right. There was no way that they would be able to outgun the miners when they had more advanced machinery and just more people. They were outgunned and outmanned.

They turned to run, but they tripped over some bodies. There was a familiar voice asking for help, and as soon as Ivy sat up and turned around, she breathed out, "Indra."

"Gaia's hit. It's bad," she told them, and the other two crouched back down when they realized who it was. The woman turned over her daughter for them to see that she was definitely not looking to good. She needed medical attention and fast.

"Are you hit, too?" Octavia questioned, and Indra shook her head. Ivy had been lying in the same position for so long, and now that she was sitting in a different one, she was beginning to realize just how much pain she was in. Everything ached, and she wanted to desperately to be in a nice, comfortable bed. "We have to get Gaia to Jackson. Come on, Indra."

Indra shook her head, worried that moving her would make the wound worse. "No. We can't move her. Wonkru will come back for us."

"First, we stop the bleeding," Ivy said, and Indra looked up at her, giving her permission to do anything that she could. She had learned a thing or two from watching Clarke, but she definitely was not an expert. "Not here. We need cover. They won't see us behind those rocks." They very carefully and quietly moved under cover, and Ivy turned back to the injury.
