The sky was dark, blanketing the atmosphere with a cloak of deep black dotted with an array of shimmering stars that seemed to twinkle. You were stood at the large window of the hotel room gazing out at the eye-catching nighttime cityscape. Being the girlfriend of a K-pop idol had its perks and one of them was being able to stay in a lavish hotel when accompanying the group on a tour. Being a non-celebrity, you never got to experience such opulence, so it was always a treat when you had the privilege to travel with the boys somewhere. At times, it felt like this life wasn't yours and you were living someone else's with how many high-end places you'd visited.
This trip in particular took you to a breathtaking country with warm, sunny weather and lush palm trees scattered about the large city that stretched for miles. Ateez were scheduled to perform at a well-known local festival, so the sumptuous hotel room you were stood in would be your home for the next three days—and you weren't complaining, not one bit.

San, who noticed you standing at the window, walked up from behind and wrapped his strong arms around you, his chin resting on your shoulder as you gazed out the glass pane in pure contentment.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" He murmured, his voice low in your ear, causing you to suppress a shiver.
"Very."
"Not as beautiful as you though." He purred, tugging on your earlobe teasingly with his teeth.
You chuckled softly at his cliche but effective flirtatious quip. "Cheeseball."
He hummed against your skin, tracing his nose down your neck, seemingly unbothered by your name-calling. "You love it."
"Maybe just a little."
San's fingers played absentmindedly with the hem of your shirt, rubbing over the fabric in a loving manner.
"The night is still young. I was thinking about taking a little dip in the pool. You could join me." He spoke against your shoulder. "We'd have it all to ourselves."
You chuckled softly. "That might be nice."
"Should we go?"
"Yeah." You hummed, turning your head to press a kiss to his cheek. "Let's go."

Minutes later, you were both in your swimsuits. San in a black pair of swim trunks and you in your favorite colored bikini. As soon as you sauntered out of the bathroom, San's sharp gaze was locked on you, following your form across the hotel room. He swallowed thickly, pulling his bottom lip between his teeth while you rummaged for your towel, and selfishly, he hoped you wouldn't find it so he could keep staring at you.
He could only recall one other time he'd seen you in a swimsuit and you'd only gotten hotter since then. He truly couldn't believe you were his.
"Are we going to swim or are you just going to stare at me?" You asked with a small grin, pulling him out of his little daze.
"Mmm. I'm tempted to just stare, but I'd also like to enjoy this place." San got up from the bed, sliding his arm around your waist. "Let's go before I change my mind."

The pool was secluded, not a single person out on the terrace to swim or enjoy the view of the illuminated cityscape in the distance. A pleased smirk settled on San's lips as he draped his towel over the back of a lounge chair. You followed suit, lying yours out before slipping off your sandals and heading towards the pool. A small squeak of surprise left you as San ran by, leaping off the edge to dive gracefully into the water. He emerged seconds later, pushing his wet hair back away from his face, fully displaying his forehead and sharp, pristinely manicured brows.
"A little warning would be nice." You remarked, clutching your chest.
He chuckled lowly, swimming a short ways before rotating to float on his back for a moment. He glided over to the edge where you were standing, smiling up at you.
"Could you hand me my goggles?"
You snagged the eyewear off the chair, passing them over. San slid them over his head, adjusting the eyecups before fixing the elastic strap, pulling on it and releasing it so it snapped against the back of his head in a silly manner.
"You look ridiculous." You chuckled.
"Ridiculously hot." He corrected with a grin, diving forward, his muscular form cutting through the water with ease.
