You watched from your spot on the couch as Hongjoong reached for the scissors on the coffee table beside him, a pair of pants and various fabric paints laid out before him on the living room floor.

"Woah! What are you doing?" You asked fretfully, reaching out to stop him.
"Cutting my jeans." He answered simply.
You knew Hongjoong enjoyed reforming clothes and restyling them, but what he was preparing to do was almost criminal.
"That brand is really expensive. What are you doing cutting them up?"
"Making then look cool." He answered. "You remember that jacket I wore for our concert in Japan last week?"
"The Jean jacket with all the paint and safely pins on it?" You inquired.
"That's the one."
"What about it?"
"I made it."
"You made that? I thought it was a designer jacket."
"It was, but I upgraded it. Made by Hongjoong." He grinned, pointing to himself proudly.
"You're so cool." You marveled.
He held back a bashful smile as he glanced away shyly. "Would you maybe want to try reforming sometime?"
"Absolutely. Can't say I'll be as good as you, but it seems like a lot of fun."
"You don't have to be an artist. You saw how messy my jacket was. Sometimes the messiness is what makes the look."
"That's true. I guess it's all about having fun."
"That's exactly what it's all about."
"So, when should we have this special arts and crafts day?"
"How about today?" He suggested. "I have time."
"Wait, seriously?"
"Why not? We can go to a craft store or something and get some stuff to restyle."
"I'm up for it."
"Let's get out of there, then." He grinned, grabbing your hand and pulling you off the couch.

Since Yunho and Jongho were the only members with licenses and neither of you wanted to bother them, Hongjoong contacted the group's manager and arranged for him to pick the both of you up. He let you climb into the SUV first, helping you inside. You made your way to the very back and sat down, Hongjoong following behind.
The vehicle pulled away from the curb and onto the road heading towards the nearest craft supply store or anything similar to one. You got comfortable, leaning onto the headrest, watching the buildings and pedestrians pass by. A few moments later you felt Hongjoong's fingers playing with yours before lacing them together. It was rare for him to initiate skinship so you cherished these moments and made the most of them.

You arrived moments later to a large superstore that had just about anything and everything you could possibly need.
"This is perfect. We can buy all sorts of things here." You commented as you climbed out of the car.
Hongjoong filed out behind you and headed inside.

"So, what exactly are we looking for?" You questioned, glancing around as you tried to figure out where to go first.
"Anything. Shirts, jeans, jackets, shoes. You can even reform bags. It's up to you."
"Alright. I'll see if anything sparks any inspiration."
You made your way further into the store and went to the women's and junior's clothing section. You perused the tops, not finding anything that had potential until you came across a black and white long-sleeved shirt. It was cute, but something told you that you could make it look better.
"Hey Joong, how about this one?" You questioned, holding the article of clothing up.
"What did you have in mind for it?"
"Hm. I'm not sure. Maybe paint on it and cut some holes in it—oh! Maybe I could sew some patches onto it? I kind of want to made it look distressed and worn."
"See? All you did was look at it and you have all these ideas. My darling is so creative." Hongjoong smiled fondly, lightly ruffling your hair.
"Stop, we're in public." Your cheeks warmed.
Hongjoong laughed, finding amusement in your embarrassment. "At least I didn't kiss you." He pointed out.
"You'd never kiss me in public."
His brow raised as if to challenge you. Without any time to react, he lunged towards you playfully, making you jump back.
"Okay, okay. You've made your point." You chuckled.
