The night went by just like any other night. Jennie, Lisa, and Jevin watched a few films until Jevin eventually fell asleep. After carrying him back to his room, Lisa never forgot to show his wife his appreciation for making every minute of their weekend worthwhile. Surely, everything seemed normal aside from one missing servant and missing keys to the wine cellar.

"Are you sure you will drop off Jevy at his school?" Jennie inquired, standing in front of Lisa and Jevin in the mansion's driveway.

"Just rest some more." Lisa smiled, casting Jevin a look. The latter was just standing beside him. "Don't worry. I got it."

"Mommy, don't be sad while Daddy and Jevy are at work."

Jennie chuckled as she squatted down, hugging the night robe around her body. "Enjoy school, okay? Come. Give Mommy a kiss."

Jevin pressed his lips into a thin line, blushing. Still, he took a quick step and planted a quick peck on his mother's cheek. Lisa darted his eyes between the mother and son, stopping himself from asking for a goodbye kiss as well.

Now that he thought about it, Jennie would usually just send him off. It was the first time Jennie would send Jevin and Lisa off, but why did Jevin get a kiss? How about him?

"If someone picks on you, just tell Mommy, okay?" Jennie ruffled Jevin's hair, a little reluctant to send her son off. However, she couldn't just ask him to stay indoors.

When Jennie pushed herself up, she raised her brows at the stern look plastered on Lisa's face. 'What... what did I do to him?' she wondered, mistaking his expression as an angry one.

'Well.' Jennie ran her tongue across her inner cheek, hiding her curiosity with a smile. "You take care as well, okay?"

Jennie took a step, standing on her toes as she planted a quick peck on Lisa's cheek. When she drew her head back, she dusted off his suit.

"My husband is so handsome. Lucky me!" The corner of her lips stretched from ear to ear, watching how his expression turned soft. 'So, he just wants a kiss, huh?'

"I'll be a little late." Lisa bent over, planting a kiss on her cheek without prior notice. "But I'll come home as early as I can."

"No worries." Jennie smiled. "I'll pick up Jevy later."

This time, Jevin was the one carrying such a stern expression. There was no doubt he was Lisa's child.

"Alright. Off you go!" Jennie clapped or else, the two of them would get late if they kept asking for kisses.

"Mhm." Lisa rocked his head, tipping his head to hint at Jevin to get inside the car.

Jevin cast Jennie one last look before getting into the vehicle. Meanwhile, Lisa offered Jennie a subtle smile before hitching inside. The window wound down as soon as Lisa shut the door, only for her to see Jevin smiling while waving.

So cute.

"Bye-bye." Jennie waved as the vehicle slowly moved away. She kept waving, watching the car's bumper as they picked up their speed.

'I guess it's a good thing they wouldn't be home today,' she thought as her smile faded, watching the huge gates open up for the departing vehicle.

When Jennie turned on her heel to face the mansion, the remaining softness on her face disappeared without a trace. All that was left was a thick layer of frost with eyes glinting dangerously.

With her discretion, Jennie snuck into the wine cellar. She managed to avoid the servants, bringing a tray of light breakfast.

"Ugh..." As soon as Jennie locked the door of the cellar, she heard a faint groan. She arched a brow, marching inside and turning to the corner.

There, tied up in the corner of the cellar, was Andrea. There was dry blood on the maid's clothes, and the blood on her wounded arm clot. A deep exhale slipped past Jennie's lips as Andrea slowly gazed up at the person standing several steps from her.

"Hah..." Andrea scoffed at the sight of Jennie. "... you're back?"

"I told you I will come to visit you." Jennie took a few steps, squatting down as she placed the tray in front of the servant. "How was last night? Did you get a good sleep?"

Andrea couldn't help but grind her teeth, eyes burning at Jennie. Was Jennie mocking her? After putting her in so much pain, tying her up that tightened every time Andrea move, she had the gall to ask her if she got a good night's rest. But then again, Andrea passed out after Jennie smashed her head against the floor last night, waking up only hours later.

"Who are you?" Andrea breathed out, understanding her mistake of underestimating Jennie. It was a mistake to think Jennie was just acting last night, that Jennie simply got lucky for catching her off guard.

That wasn't the case.

Jennie had done this before, and that was for sure. This rope tying Andrea down was enough proof. This method of tying up was the most dangerous of all because the more she moved, the tighter it would become. So, Andrea had to limit her breathing to survive.

Andrea was plagued with questions from last night and couldn't find any solutions. Jennie Kim was just a mere actress — a has-been. Considering how hopeless she was 'that' night, there was no way this was the same person.

Ridiculous as it may sound, that was the only answer Andrea could think of. That this Jennie... was not the same Jennie.

"I must have lost my mind," Andrea blurted out in a murmur, laughing sarcastically. 'I'm probably just desperate and hadn't thought that this woman learned self-defense. Considering she was planning to take her own life that night, she probably didn't fight back, hoping she would die. I'm losing my mind.'

Jennie cupped her face, still squatting at arm's length from Andrea. "You look pale. Do you want some water?"

"Hah!" Andrea laughed at the ridiculous question. "Water? Do you think I'm crazy? Who knows what you put in there?"

"What you don't know can't hurt you." Jennie blinked, keeping her poker face. "You should fix your attitude because right now, your life is at my mercy. Being prideful isn't an assassin's trait, you know? You should try to survive for as long as you can because you won't get the chance to finish the job if you die."
