After sending Lisa off, Jevin and Jennie continued their lazy morning in the family room. As usual, Jevin brought his books with him while his mother busied herself with her phone.

"Do you like it that much?" he couldn't help but ask, watching her peel her eyes from the phone for the first time in minutes.

"It's our first family photo. I can't get enough of it." Her lips stretched from ear to ear as her cheek turned pinkish. "Look at you. You're so cute!"

Jennie raised her phone, showing him their family photo. "We look so cute together as if we're a match made in Heaven!"

Jevin didn't react as he studied the photo for a moment. In the photo, he was sitting on his mother's lap while she was hugging him from behind. Her bright smile gave her a lot sweeter look, as if they had been a happy family since day one.

It wasn't bad. It was just that... he disliked the way Lisa was in the picture. His father didn't have to make it too obvious by leaning his face closer to his mother.

"We should take more pictures from now on," Jennie suggested as she retrieved her phone. "Capturing every moment so we can look back at them one day."

"Okay." Jevin shrugged, setting his attention back on the book.

Now that it was just the two of them, Jevin could relax. He didn't need to compete with Jennie's attention. After all, Jevin believed if he stayed like this whenever his father was around, his mother might forget his presence. Considering Lisa was proactive.

With that thought in mind, Jevin relaxed his shoulders as he focused on the book. Jennie kept her eyes on him, smiling.

'He's been distracted the entire morning,' she thought. 'I shouldn't bother him for now since he seemed he had been itching to read the book.'

Jennie kept quiet, staying beside Jevin on the large couch in the family room. She shifted her focus on her phone, smiling in satisfaction the moment her eyes laid on the family photo.

'It's really cute — should I frame this one?' as she was wondering what to do with the photo, a notification suddenly appeared on top of the screen.

'Huh?'

Jennie furrowed her brows as she tapped on the notification banner, redirecting her to her inbox. It came from an unknown number, but she still inevitably read the message.

[From: unknown number

Jennie, how are you? It's been a while since the last time I heard from you, considering how we parted ways. After that day, I told myself to respect your decision. However, even after five years, I still think of you. I hope you are happy and well. Call me if you want to talk. It'll be nice to catch up with you.]

'Who in the world?' Jennie mentally gasped, horrified at the message she received. 'A lover?!'

She instinctively checked Jennie's memory to see if she had a lover five years ago but to no avail. Although Jennie had countless suitors and someone she had a crush on, she wasn't in an official relationship.

Jennie wanted to focus on her rising career, after all. Dating was never her priority. So, it wasn't surprising she didn't take well the role of suddenly becoming a mother and a wife to a man she barely knew.

'Let's not jump to conclusion just yet,' she told herself, closing the tab to think things through. 'If this person messages me again, then I will ask.'

She mentally nodded in agreement. Rushing things wouldn't help. After all, Jennie already had a lot on her plate. She was in the process of winning her son's and husband's hearts. Not because the current situation was pleasant, doesn't mean she should be complacent.

On top of that, there was a killer on the loose in the mansion. To make it worse, Jennie couldn't confront this killer because her body was too weak for close combat in case a confrontation happens. She didn't need another bad news.

'I should think about what to do with the family photo instead,' was what she told herself to get back on track. Jennie immediately thought of posting it on her social media, so she opened the app.

Much to her surprise, what welcomed her when she opened the app was countless notifications. Her eyes instantly went wide, realizing one single photo of her had blown up in just a few hours.

[OMG! You're back, my queen!!]

[After five years!!!! I am not ready for this selfie early in the morning!]

[Omo! You're alive!]

[So pretty! Jennie Kim is much prettier after five years! T.T]

[So glad you are alive. We miss you so much!]

[More!! Please post more life updates! We miss you so much! I've been waiting for you to return to the big screen. Hopefully, you will come back soon.]

Her entire face froze in horror, scrolling through thousands of comments in the comment section. There were even countless shares of her photo, which quickly spread for many to see.

"What in the world..." she mumbled in utter disbelief at what she was seeing.

Her phone was in a do not disturb mode. She didn't receive any notification from the app until she opened it. The comments continuously came, and fans even bombarded her messages.

This... horrified her for the first minute until she realized she was now Jennie Kim and not Jane.

'Right...' she breathed in relief. 'It's not my actual face, but this one.'

Moreover, it was a simple selfie that was going around the internet and not her wanted poster. What a relief.

"Wow," she mumbled when she got a hold of her sanity. "I didn't know I'm still popular."

Jennie didn't check it the first time, but out of curiosity, she checked her account's profile. Her pupils went wide at the astounding ten million followers! For others, it was a small number of followers compared to the current stars, but this number of followers was still too much for her.

"Wow... just wow!" Her voice was louder this time, snatching Jevin's attention.

Jevin leaned closer to peek at her phone but was not surprised at the number of followers his mother had. His mother was a very popular actress before having him, after all. She even won the biggest award an actress could get five years ago. He knew all of that because he stalked her in the past and even watched all the films she acted in.

"That photo is good," he commented, lifting his attention to her. "Are you surprised that your first post after five years got such a response?"

Jennie nodded.

"Why?" Jevin cocked his head to the side. "It's not like you went on hiatus because you were tangled in a scandal. You just disappeared, so everyone just misses you."

"..." That was not the point!

"Jevy." Jennie sighed as she dramatically refocused her attention on the phone. "I just suddenly thought how foolish your mother was." — or rather, how foolish the original Jennie was.

"I don't understand why you think like that."

Jennie snapped her eyes to him. "What I meant is the world didn't end five years ago for me."
