Kara hated meetings. She dreaded them. But here she sat in a meeting that could have been an email. She'd been in this meeting for two hours already and she was getting annoyed. "And that's why we need more money for the photography department." One of her heads of departments said. Kara had heard enough, she stood up and looked around the table. "You seriously mean to tell me that you wasted all the money in your budget? And now you want more?" Kara snapped. "Uh..yes!" The man said. "Request denied! End of meeting!" Kara yelled as she watched everyone disappear from her sight.
Lena had just arrived a few minutes before and had heard Kara yelling at her employees ass he walked to her office. "That sounds pretty bad." Lena said to Kara's assistant. "Yea. She's really letting them have it." Miranda said. "I'm just gonna wait in her office with our lunch then." Lena said. Miranda nodded and watched lena go into Kara's office and shut the door. A few minutes later Kara began walking towards her office. "Any calls while I was in there?" Kara asked. "No but...Lena's waitng for you." Miranda replied. "Thank you. Please..hold my calls for a couple hours." Kara requested. Miranda nodded as Kara walked into her office and shut the door.
"Lee...you are a sight for sore eyes!" Kara whispered as she pulled Lena into a hug. "I heard you had a rough meeting..come sit..I've brought you lunch." Lena said. Kara sank into the sofa and kissed Lena's cheek. "Thank you love." Kara whispered. "No thanks needed darling. Now come on eat up before your burgers get cold." Lena said. Kara picked up the fast food bag and pulled out the burger and unwrapped it. "Oh Lee! You are a dream! You go me extra pickles!" Kara exclaimed happily as she bit into the burger. Lena smiled at the sight of her fiancee as she ate her burger, she loved making Kara happy especially after she had a rough day.
