Author POV

Years had passed since Rajveer and Nayantara first met at summer camp. The passage of time had been kind to both of them, but their paths had diverged significantly. Rajveer had emerged as a successful businessman, having established and now running a private CA firm. His success didn't end there; he also held the prestigious position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at his own company. His professional achievements were a testament to his hard work and determination.

On the other hand, Nayantara had forged a distinct yet equally impressive career trajectory. She had taken up the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at a company founded by her brother and sister-in-law. This venture was a significant joint undertaking, reflecting the trust and collaboration within her family. Nayantara's role was pivotal in shaping the company's workforce and culture, a task she approached with dedication and skill.

Nayantara's brother, who had played a central role in the company's establishment, was engaged to the daughter of one of their business partners. This young woman, who was of Nayantara's age, had always been a constant presence in Nayantara's life. Their close relationship had provided Nayantara with support and companionship, even as their professional and personal lives intertwined.

Despite their separate lives and careers, the connection between Rajveer and Nayantara lingered in their memories. The experiences they had shared during their formative years at camp had left a lasting impression on both of them. Now, as they navigate their busy and successful lives, the past remains a cherished part of their stories.

As we delve further into their lives, we uncover the twists and turns that have shaped their current situations. Their journeys, though different, are marked by growth and achievement. The next chapter of their story promises to explore how their paths might cross again and how their past experiences will influence their future interactions.

Let's continue with the unfolding of their story.

Rajveer's POV

I'm heading home today after spending six months living in Mumbai. Balancing responsibilities between two companies was quite a challenge, but thankfully, everything has worked out well.

I miss everyone at home, especially Maa Sa and Dadi Sa, and their constant reminders about getting married. It's been ages since I last saw Nayantara, and now she seems to have vanished into thin air. I spoke with Anjali, but she mentioned that Tara was out of touch—such a strange girl. Anyway, I'm almost home now.

"Kaka, aap humein yahi chhod dijiye," I told the driver, wanting to surprise my family. (Uncle, please drop me off here.)

"Chalo, accha hai koi garden mein nahi baitha," I thought to myself. (Good that no one is sitting in the garden.)

As I approached the front door, I could hear the faint hum of conversation from inside. With a mischievous smile, I pushed open the door, only to be greeted by a flying pillow.

"Ahh, Bhai Sa, I am not going to leave you," my cute little sister exclaimed as she leaped into my arms, her excitement palpable.

"Aree, aree, is this the way to greet your brother, who has come after a long time?" I questioned, trying to steady myself.
