Author's POV

Everyone had gathered at the Ranawat residence for the auspicious muhurat of the wedding. The pandit ji had arrived and was studying their kundalis to determine the perfect muhurat for their union.

"Haan toh, Kanya aur Kuwar ki Kundali ke 30 Guna milte hain, inka sansar sukhimay hoga," he announced while examining the charts. (Yes, so both their birth charts align perfectly; they will have a bright future.)

"Pandit Ji, Guna toh milne hi the; Bhai Sa ne itne papad jo bele hain," Lakshay chimed in, prompting laughter from everyone. (Pandit ji, the charts had to match; Bhai Sa has put in so much effort.)

Nayantara was a blushing mess, and Rajveer was nervously rubbing his neck. "Ab kyu sharma rahe hain dono?" Padmini Dadi Sa asked. (Why are you both shy now?)

"Dadi Sa, aap bhi?" Nayantara complained, as they all teased her. (Dadi Sa, you too?)

"Toh bataiye, pandit ji, kab ka muhurat hai?" AmarPratap Dada Sa asked eagerly. (So tell us, Pandit Ji, what are the dates?)

"Ji Maharaj, agle mahine ki 15 taarik shubh hai inki mangni ke liye... aur shaadi... shaadi toh uske 3 mahine baad... aaj se 4 mahine baad ki 10 taarik sahi rahegi," Pandit ji replied, closely monitoring the charts. (Yes Maharaj, the 15th of next month is a good date for their engagement... and marriage... marriage three months after that; the 10th of that month is suitable.)

"Is there no other date? Maybe sooner?" Rajveer asked eagerly, and Nayantara glanced at him in surprise.

"Have patience, Bhai Sa," Aditi said, giggling as everyone noted his eagerness and smiled.

"Jiju Sa, have a little patience; we want our sister with us for a few months," Karan added with a smile.

"You can have her after the wedding; I can't take any more risks," Rajveer said in a panic, causing everyone to laugh at him.

Arjun got up and quietly left, and as the dates were fixed and the elders busied themselves with wedding preparations, Nayantara noticed Arjun's sad expression and followed him.

"Kya hua bacche?" she asked softly. (What happened, dear?)

"Nothing, I am fine," he replied, forcing a smile.

"I'll give you a tight slap if you don't spill what's wrong," she warned him playfully.

"Why is that Jiju Sa so eager to take you away from us? I don't like him," he said, pouting.

"Offo, Bacche... I am here with you, and I will always be just a call away," she reassured him, pulling him into a hug.

"That's the thing, na; now I don't even have to call you," he complained.

"Kya ho raha hai yaha?" Karan interjected into their conversation. (What is happening here?)

"Our small rat is crying that his devil sister is leaving," she said, wiping her own tears.

"Aree, Rotlu... isse toh jana hi hai na," Karan said as he approached them. (Oh Crybaby... she has to go one day.)

"I know, but it's so soon... and I am not a crybaby; I have emotions, unlike you," Arjun said, still pouting.
