Nayantara's POV
It got late last night, so we all turned in. I still need to speak with Baba Sa about my trip. I was getting ready for the office when my phone pinged.
Ahhhh, I'll have to talk soon; everyone is so excited. It's been a long time since I took a leave from work. I came downstairs for breakfast, and everyone was already gathered at the dining table.
"Good morning, everyone," I greeted, and everyone responded.
"Baba Sa, I actually wanted to talk to you about something," I continued while serving myself breakfast.
"Yes, my dear. Tell me, what is it?" Baba Sa asked.
"Well, actually my friends and I were planning to go on a trip," I said.
"A trip?" Maa Sa and Dadi Sa inquired curiously.
"Ji, it's been a while, and we need a little break for ourselves," I replied.
"It's a good idea. Where have you planned to go?" Dada Sa asked.
"Dada Sa, we were thinking that Lakshadweep would be a lovely destination, as we have property there, so the stay is secure. Also, Baba Sa has some connections there, which will ensure a smooth stay," I explained.
"Accha hai, beta, good planning. I'll talk to the caretaker there and arrange everything. Karan Bacche, you book their tickets. Ruhi Beta, do you also want to go?" Baba Sa asked.
"Baba Sa, kisne humse pucha hi nahi, humein paraya kar diya," Ruhi Bhabhi Sa said dramatically. (Baba Sa, nobody asked me; someone just alienated me.)
"Aree Baba Sa, yeh kya puch liya? Inka drama fir chalu ho gaya," Karan Bhai Sa chuckled, while Bhabhi Sa shot him a disapproving glance. (Aree Baba Sa, why did you ask? Her drama started again.)
"Nahi, nahi, I was going to ask you, Bhabhi Sa; I just wanted to confirm the plan first," I said.
"Nayan, chill; I was just joking. You go enjoy, and anyway, the company has an important project," Bhabhi Sa smiled and replied.
"Hamse bhi koi puch lo, hum bhi iss ghar ke hi bete hain, download nahi kiya hame," Arjun frowned. (Someone ask me too; I'm also a son of this house, not downloaded from somewhere.)
"It's a girls' trip, Chhote," I chuckled, and everyone laughed.
Later in the evening, I messaged my friends about the update.
