Nayantara's POV

I was completely taken aback when I saw my favourite anklet. I could never have imagined that Veer would have found it. Well, destiny works in mysterious ways. I was overjoyed-engaged to the love of my life, and I had my anklet back.

The next day, we returned home. I sat on the terrace, admiring the anklet and replaying the events of the previous night in my mind. Just then, Ruhanika Bhabhi Sa came to me.

"What are you doing here, smiling all by yourself?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Nothing, just happy," I hummed, still lost in the moment.

"Wait, this anklet-it's your favourite one, right? Wasn't it lost?" she asked, clearly confused.

"It found its way back to me," I replied dreamily.

"Nayannn!" Bhabhi Sa shook me gently, bringing me back to reality.

"Wohh... Actually..." I stammered, shyly recounting the entire story of how it got lost and how it found its way back.

"So... our lovebirds were meant to be together. Destiny was just testing your patience," she said, a teasing smirk on her face.

I blushed at her words. "I'm so happy to be with him," I whispered softly.

"We're happy for you too, the whole family is. And he loves you a lot," she said, pulling me into a side hug.

Maa Sa and Dadi Sa came up to the terrace just then, overhearing us.

"Aree Gudiya, Aap dono yaha?" Dadi Sa asked (Dolls, you here?)

"Ji Dadi Sa, bas Hawa khane aaye they," Bhabhi Sa replied (Yes, Dadi Sa, we just came to get some fresh air.)

"Good, you both are here. We were just talking about your wedding," Maa Sa said, looking at me.

"What about it, Maa Sa? There are still three months left," I replied.

"I know, Bacche, but there's so much to do. Also, Mandira Ji called. Jamai Sa will come tomorrow to pick you up. They want to take you home for a ritual," Maa Sa said.

"Oh, tomorrow... Urm, what should I wear? Did they mention anything about the ritual?" I asked, feeling a bit panicked.

"Calm down, Gudiya. It's just a small ritual. You'll go to their house, and they will welcome you with an Aarti. Then, you'll walk into the house with Kumkum-clad feet, marking the home as yours," Dadi Sa explained.

"Oh, just like we did for Ruhi Bhabhi Sa," I exclaimed.

"Yes, Bacche, just like that," Maa Sa said, caressing my head lovingly.

The mood turned emotional again.

"Why do you all get emotional every time?" I said in a sad tone.

"You are the happiness of this house, Nayan. It's only natural for us to feel sad letting you go. But we're also happy you've found the best partner for yourself," Bhabhi Sa said, her voice filled with warmth. Dadi Sa nodded in agreement.

"Just like Ruhi Gudiya had to leave her home and come here, you'll have to go there. We were happy to have Ruhi with us, but her family was sad to let her go," Dadi Sa added.
