A/N I've played tennis before but not much and don't know how it works at the US Open or professionally so apologising if my sports writing sucks in advance, feel free to leave any requests PS - we know Travis was really watching the football on his phone - I loved all the Tayvis content from the US Open a few days ago so had to write this xxx

April 2024

Travis' POV

I ace the ball and Taylor side eyes me.

"One more point and I win baby" I laugh.

"It's not my fault you're a professional athlete," she says sticking her tongue out at me.

"40 LOVE" I shout out into the empty tennis court.

Taylor laughs making her way over to the gate of the court at her house. I quickly catch up to her before saying, "Don't I get a well done kiss"

She smiles before pressing her lips to mine and wrapping her arms round my neck. "We'll have a rematch later today and we can see who's the real champion" she says winking at me as she sits down on the grass sun reflecting on her. She's wearing a short skirt and a tennis top and even though it's not a Grammy's outfit and she's not wearing a bodysuit or a red lip she still looks stunning.

"You know what would be really cool" I say

"What?" she asks

"If we showed up to the US Open in the summer, Fritz is a big fan of yours and keeps on saying how electric it would be if you came" I say

"That would be so fun" she smiles at me

"Isn't she called Taylor too" I ask

"She is. It's a really good name" she jokes, "Just letting you know,"

"It would go even better with Kelce" I say pulling her in close to my chest and kissing her hair.

She blushes turning round to kiss me on the cheek.

"You already know babe" she says quoting so high school.

September 2024

It's a rare day off, and me Tay, Pat and Britt are sat at the US Open watching one of the tennis matches at the US Open, the girls are sat chatting as they need a catchup, and me and Pat are checking the football scores for today in the break between the game. With all due respect aside from football, basketball, baseball and ice hockey I'm not as into other sports.

Tay comes and sits down next to me holding two of their famous cocktails she hands me one and I kiss her on the cheek. I start sipping mine when a song comes on, Taylor head turns to me and I smile, it's the same one we danced and sung to when she came round to mine for the first time in Kansas city. She gives me a look and we both start singing. I can hear Patrick laughing at us and Brittany asking him, "Do you even know this song?" but I couldn't care less.

"I BELIEVE IN A THING CALLED LOVE JUST LISTEN TO THE RHYTHM OF MY HEART THERE'S A CHANCE WE COULD MAKE IT NOW WE'LL BE ROCKING TILL THE SUN GOES DOWN I BELIEVE IN A THING CALLED LOVE HO - OH" We scream dancing around without a care in the world.

A few days ago, someone leaked an AI PR contract saying that me and Tay would break up in September and the relationship was fake and all PR which is honestly bullshit that my PR team are pissed about especially considering the ring I ordered for Taylor arrived a few weeks ago while she was in Europe.

I feel grounded at ease for once in my life my brain switched off from plays and superbowls and touchdowns and in full Taylor mode.
