A/N I HATE HOW I DID THIS CHAPTER BUT IT'S IN THE DRAFTS AND WAS A REQUEST :(

Travis' POV

When you date Taylor Swift, you figure she's done pretty much everything. World tours, private jets, awards galas—you name it. But nothing could have prepared me for what she admitted last night as we were curled up on the couch.

"I've never eaten out at a restaurant before," she said casually, like it was no big deal.

I sat up so fast I nearly spilled my drink. "Wait, what?"

Taylor looked at me, amused. "What part of that didn't make sense?"

"All of it," I said, still trying to process. "You've never gone to a restaurant? Like, ever?"

She shrugged. "Not really. Growing up, we didn't do that much, and then when I got famous, it just became... complicated. Paparazzi, privacy issues, you know."

"That's insane," I said, shaking my head. "We're fixing this. Tomorrow night."

She laughed, snuggling back against me. "Good luck finding a place where I won't be mobbed."

"Oh, I've got my ways," I told her, already mentally making plans.

Taylor's POV

I didn't think Travis was serious, but of course, he was. The next day, he told me to dress up and refused to say where we were going.

"Just trust me," he said, grinning as he held the car door open for me.

The drive was quiet, with Travis humming along to the radio and me trying not to feel nervous. I mean, it wasn't like I didn't know how to eat food, but the whole idea of being in a public space, surrounded by strangers, was kind of daunting.

Finally, we pulled up to a small, cosy-looking restaurant tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood. The sign outside said Lou's Bistro.

"Travis," I said sceptically, "how did you even find this place?"

"Secret Kelce knowledge," he said, winking. "Come on."

Travis' POV

I'd called in a favour with a buddy who knew the owner of Lou's Bistro. It was the kind of place where people respected each other's privacy—a hidden gem where we could enjoy a quiet meal without being bothered by people who had no idea of res

When we walked in, I saw Taylor glancing around nervously. The staff had cleared out one of the smaller dining rooms just for us, and the owner himself greeted us at the door.

"Welcome," he said warmly, shaking Taylor's hand. "It's an honour to have you here."

Taylor smiled politely, still looking a little unsure.

Once we were seated, she leaned toward me. "This is... nice."

"You don't sound convinced," I teased.

"No, I like it," she said quickly. "It's just... different."

"Don't worry," I said, handing her a menu. "You're in good hands. Let's make your first restaurant experience unforgettable."

Taylor's POV

The menu was overwhelming. There were so many options, and everything sounded fancy.

"What do you recommend?" I asked, feeling a little lost.

"Are you asking me for advice?" Travis asked, pretending to be shocked. "This might be the highlight of my year."

I rolled my eyes, but I couldn't help smiling.

We ended up ordering a little bit of everything: appetisers, entrees, desserts—you name it. Travis insisted I try the calamari, and to my surprise, I actually liked it.

The waiter brought out our main dishes, and Travis was watching me like a hawk as I took my first bite of the chicken parmesan.

"Well?" he asked, his eyes sparkling.

"It's amazing," I admitted, savouring the flavours.

He pumped his fist in the air. "I knew you'd love it!"

Travis' POV

Watching Taylor experience a restaurant meal for the first time was like watching a kid on Christmas morning. Every dish brought a new reaction, from wide-eyed wonder to outright delight.

"I can't believe I've been missing this," she said, finishing off a bite of tiramisu.

"Well, now that you've had a taste, we'll have to make up for lost time," I said.

She laughed, reaching across the table to hold my hand. "Thank you for this, Trav. I know it probably wasn't easy to arrange."

"Anything for you," I said, squeezing her hand. "And hey, next time, you can take me to one of your favourite spots. We'll make it a tradition."

Taylor's POV

By the time we left the restaurant, I felt like I'd just unlocked a new level of life. Travis held my hand as we walked to the car, his warmth grounding me.

"So, what's the verdict?" he asked as we buckled in.

"I loved it," I said honestly. "But you were the best part of the night."

He smirked. "I'll take it."

As we drove home, I couldn't stop smiling. Travis always knew how to make me feel safe and special, and tonight was no exception.

My first restaurant experience was unforgettable—not just because of the food, but because I had him by my side.
