Taylor's POV

Travis walks in the room holding a piece of tinsel with a peculiar look on his face.

"Tay baby. I hate to be the one to tell you this but we really should have our christmas decorations down by now. It's the middle of January"

I flop back onto the sofa.

"It's not fair though" I huff.

"How exactly is it not fair that we don't get to keep the Christmas Tree up until February" he inquires.

"Cause it isn't - I'm not going to be able to be seasonal for a whole month and I'm going to die of boredom because I don't even have a tour to rehearse for" I answer him with due honesty.

"I'll make sure you aren't bored honey" he promises.

"But you'll be at football Trav." 

He sighs knowing he can't get out of that one. The Chiefs have a three peat right at the tip of their fingers and are all having to put in the extra work to get it.

"If I get a pink Christmas Tree on sale from Target can I please keep it up for another fortnight"

He just laughs at it walking out of the room knowing there's no way he's winning this one.

"I'll make you some gingerbread and hot chocolate with candy canes if it cheers you up baby" I shout out at him in the hallway.
