Giyuu was still, too surprised to find (Name) alive after all those years of separation with no idea if the other one had made it out alive or gone to the jaws of the hungry beasts.

It has been a long night patrolling and you couldn't wait to meet your siblings during the day. Once you have ensured the whole town is basking under the sunlight, you immediately leave off to the butterfly mansion.

Your feet were guiding you to the destination while your mind wandered off to the distant scenarios and memories, the sweet chirps of the birds, the light rustle of the trees, and some obvious movements of the squirrels running around were like a piece of background music to your distant mind.

Your face was blocked out from the view of the world or you would've looked like a walking corpse thanks to your dark eye bags.

The scenery struck a distant chord in your memories which made you vividly recall a moment when you gently picked up your brother to run up the mountain where it was all bright and yellow. The scenery shifted to a slightly eerie and cold one as you remembered when you first ran down the hill to escape Urokodaki's traps. Then it went calmingly dark, the night sky was like a huge blank canvas decorated with small sparkling beads of constellations, with Sabito and Giyuu by your side.

It was so nostalgic and vivid as if you were living the lost moment once again...

"Oh my! You're here, (Name)-San!" An enthusiastic voice chirped which brought you to a halt at the entrance of the building. "Hello, Shinobu-San! How have you been?!" You exclaimed, returning the same tone with a bright smile on your face.

"Lively as ever... You know!" That certainly felt a bit weird... You shook it off and took off the scarf when both of you walked inside which you didn't notice when chatting. "So how are my siblings?"

"Alive! Your sister has been sleeping for the past few days to regain the energy she lost during the battle. As for your brother, he is recovering for sure." She reported with a permanent yet eerie smile.

"I see!"

You walked into the infirmary room where the three patients were resting. Upon placing a slow step, your eyes couldn't help but fall curiously on the three unusual boys first to the row, right before you was a yellow-haired boy who looked a bit short compared to his head. Your brother Tanjiro was right next to him. Then, of course, the weirdest of them all is a boar-head mask on the person's face.

"Hello!!" Tanjiro called over cheerfully to which you smiled and walked over to him. "How are your injuries, Tanjiro?"

"They are healing. And I appreciate your concern! Miss..."

"You forgot me from the meeting already?!!" You exclaimed in a shocked manner, slightly teary eyes from the sudden jab. To the sudden reaction to his words, he panicked with a loud panicked yell.

"AAA! FORGIVE ME MISS!!!"

"MISS?!!'

"I FORGOT!! I'M SORRY!!"

"I'M KAMADO (NAME)!! YOUR SISTER!! I MENTIONED IT IN THE MEETING!! WAAA! HOW COULD YOU!!"

"I'M SO SORRY NEE-SAN!!"

You halted in your overreactions as you stared at him with wide eyes fixed on his rather confused expression before you beamed in happiness. He didn't see it coming once he was embraced by you. Zenitsu, of course, was taken aback by the sudden scene he witnessed, watching it unfold with his jaw dropped. How couldn't he? A beautiful lady suddenly appearing to meet his comrade? He couldn't deny the jealousy he felt but discovered from their panicked conversation that it was his sister.

"I-I never knew I had an older sister... What happened?" Tanjiro asked with his brows knitted in a confused frown while you chuckled sheepishly to even come up with a word answer. It was a long tale to narrate which will bore you out.

"I have no time to answer your question Tanjiro, but I will answer it someday so rest assured. And you better recover well along with your comrades! Also, I will see Nezuko on my next visit, alright?!"

"Oh.. okay!" Tanjiro felt a twinge of disappointment to hear you dismiss it and delay it for the next day but he respected your wishes to not answer. He also couldn't tell you to stay exactly as you had duties as a hashira to deal with.

Bidding goodbye to them, you left the butterfly mansion which led to a quiet atmosphere which of course was interrupted when Chiko's caw pierced the calmness of it.

"Take down the emperor! Caw!!"

Upon hearing those words, your body halted in surprise. An unknown wave was curling in your stomach as it burdened your limbs and heart with heaviness to take a step forward. The rage coursed through your veins as you tried your best to restrain the strong feeling of vengeance.
