The wind blew her hair as she walked from the car and up on to the porch, finally she could go into her room and sit in peace. With no noise but her thoughts and the news channel, it sounded like heaven all day and now she finally had it
"Delicious?"
She looked up in confusion as to why he just said the word delicious in question form, her question was answered when she saw a female standing on the porch, her outfit was skimpy which also answered her assumptions to the question to if she was another stripper.
"what are you doing here?"
"after our call, i couldn't get you out of my mind. So i was thinking i could make you dinner and you could give me something special in return."
She was giving a nasty look towards Nina but she was trying her hardest not to make it apparent, even though it was extremely obvious. Of course Aubrey couldn't turn down the offer, she was going to cook for him, he was gonna get sexual pleasing and she was standing at his doorway with very revealing clothes on. Congratulations, you have earned the name number 3. Nina thought to herself as they all walked into the house together, number 3 stopped and turned on her heels so she could face Nina before continuing to walk
"I'm Delicious, and you are?"
She held her hand out for Nina to shake, she wasn't trying to be rude. She just didn't like touching people, she didn't like people touching her and she didn't like talking. She didn't want to know number 3 at all, so why introduce herself? There wasn't much point but to number 3 it clearly meant the world. She looked Nina up and down with much attitude at the fact that Nina not only ignored her question of introduction but didn't shake her hand as if she was dirty. She turned to Aubrey and looked up at him, she didn't even have to ask because he already knew the question that was going to come from out of her mouth
"Yes, you can go to your room."
He smiled down at her before she turned and maneuvered past number 3 awkwardly. Number 3 shrugged her as she walked past and it took the life out of Nina not to turn around and go off and then some, but she didn't. All she wanted to do was go to her room and sit in peace without anybody trying to talk to her, without anybody staring at her, without anybody trying to get to know her. Without anybody.
Her eyes fluttered open at the sound of her name, she looked to see the numbers on the clock and realized it was 8:00, they had been home for three hours already and it flew by like nothing. She smiled to herself because she finally got a nap in without some type of ridiculous memorizing dream, but she didn't hold on to that thought for long because Aubrey was continuing to call for her from downstairs. She pulled the covers off of her and pressed the off button on the remote before shuffling to the door and out of the room, she was sure her hair looked a mess from her nap but she didn't even care. She wasn't trying to impress anybody.
"Hey, dinners ready. And i know your a vegetarian so i asked Delicious to leave the meatballs out of your spaghetti."
She nodded her head as he kindly smiled down at her, she wasn't going to eat and he kind of knew that already but his offer was generous. The table was awkward as always, Aubrey and number 3 both sat at the ends of the table while Nina sat in the middle, staring down at her plate as if the food was going to eat her if she didn't eat it.
"So Nina.. How long have you and Aubrey known each other?"
She didn't do anything, she just sat there and ogle down at the nicely placed food on her plate. She could feel number 3 burning a hole into her face with her nasty look but she didn't really care, she was by now far used to it. Number 3 scuffed and rolled her eyes before placing food onto her fork and putting it into her mouth while Aubrey nonchalantly eat his meal. The one time he wasn't big on talking was when he was stuffing his mouth with food but unfortunately it was a time where Nina had to be around him.
"Is she always this rude?"
Aubrey looked up from his plate with furrowed eyebrows as he chew on the stringy pasta noodles, he had a thing for Italian food. Fact number two that he told her. He swallowed down the red sauce food before wiping the corners of his mouth with his napkin
"pardon?"
"i said..is she always this rude?"
He looked over at Nina who continue to stare down at her food, deep in thought as to how the hell she was gonna ask him if she could be excused without him getting suspicious. She never ate, she had a bag of chips from the vending machine yesterday but other then that. Nothing. The thing was, she was used to not eating, she could go a whole week on nothing but water, the reasoning behind that is because in prison not everybody got meals. If you did it was god awful food that you wouldn't even want, so Nina was used to the go hungry type of feeling.
"how is she being rude?"
Number 3's mouth gaped open in shock as to how oblivious he was at the situation, he raised his eyebrows as if asking her "are you gonna answer or no?". She didn't answer so he shrugged and went back to eating
"May i be excused?"
He waved her off politely like always, not even caring that she didn't want to eat thank god. She stood up quickly and pushed in her chair before walking around the table, She went around Aubrey's side instead because she had a bad feeling. A feeling like that if she went around number 3's side, she would shrug her again, not that it was an issue. She wasn't scared of number 3, she was scared for number 3 because god only knew if her anger would be able to take another shrug, god only knew if her anger would be able to take another stripper in the house.
god only knew.
