"Hey you."

The gang tightened up, went into full protective mode as Aubrey walked up and placed an arm around Ninas shoulder. Nina could tell they were all tense so she quickly had to step away from Aubrey, he was upset that she moved but it was for the best, fighting was not what anybody would want.

"Guys this is Aubrey, Aubrey this is Rico, Tito, Sprat, Binks and Garnett. These are some of my friends, the rest couldn't make it... Things came up."

Aubrey knew a lot, but he didn't know everything. He didn't know about Nina being in a gang, for example. He smiled kindly at them all and waved hello. They watch him with a glare, he could see that they were clearly protective over her and that made him feel better, she was safe with them so he could trust them, right?

"Guys, it's okay. He's good.... He's perfect."

He looked down at her and smiled, she smiled back before wrapping her arms around him and hugging him. The gang loosened up, they weren't so tense because they could see that Nina trusted him, Nina liked him. They smiled kindly back at Aubrey giving not only Aubrey but Nina relief as well. Her heart fluttered when she felt Aubrey wrap his arms around her again, she wanted to kiss him badly, she didn't want him she needed him.

Aubrey felt a hand on his shoulder, he should have known it was Oliver. He mentally rolled his eyes as he was being pulled away from Nina once again, he felt like a piece of him was being ripped apart and it killed him. For once Nina seemed to be enjoying herself, she didn't corner herself from people, she was open and actually a social butterfly. It sucked that he wasn't able to be a part of it because this could be the only time he got to witness her this way.

The music blasted, the drinks passed around as well as the food, Nina didn't eat or drink but she danced. She actually danced. She was happy around these men, a part of Aubrey hated it but the other part was happy for her.

"Bro! What's wrong? Your not enjoying yourself?"

He looked over, breaking his view of Nina for the first time since they arrived, his cousin and best friend Ryan had a look of worry. You would think Aubrey would be in pure heaven, girls, alcohol, food. But he wasn't, at all. He didn't want any of those things, he wanted Nina and Oliver was holding him back

"It's Nina, right?"

He nodded his head, the whole crew had caught on to the fact that Aubrey liked Nina, they caught on that Nina liked Aubrey and they caught on that they hated being apart.

"Go get her. It's a party. Oliver will get over it. After all.... She is your parolee."

With that he walked away, it was true. Nina was his responsibility, Oliver keeping Nina from him would get him in trouble, he was supposed to be taking care of her, not him. It didn't matter what he said because he was Ninas mentor, legally his name was signed to the documents.

He set down his drink that he hadn't even taken one sip out of and walked over to her. Who cares what Oliver had to say because In every way possible he was not in charge. He watched her as she danced to the music with her friends, she was gorgeous as she wear a perfect smile, her dimples flashed, her white teeth shined. She stopped dancing as Aubrey approached and smiled up at him

"Hi."

"May I have this dance?"

He grabbed her hand and lifted it to his lips, he kissed it softly as if he were asking for a ballroom dance. She laughed out, a true genuine laugh, it made his heart flutter. He smiled and pulled her in, she tilted her head back and laughed out loud as he began to slow dance with her. This was definitely not a slow dance party so it was funny to her and the gang as well. He laughed as well as he enjoyed this moment, thank god for Ryan, if he wouldn't have said that he would have pouted and moped the whole party.

They slow danced and waltzed around as the loud rap music blasted through speakers, some people watched and took pictures/video and some ignored there dancing. Nor Aubrey or Nina cared though, they were so happy just goofing off together that nothing mattered, the gang hung around, they called over some girls and did there own thing just like the OVO crew, but they made sure to stay close. They stayed to the point of keeping Nina in eye sight which was close enough.

"You look beautiful today."

"You look handsome today."

He put his forehead against hers and smiled, she smiled too but on the inside she was hurt. She wanted to kiss him so bad, he wanted to kiss her to but they knew they couldn't. There noses touched too, only bringing there lips closer and closer. It was hard for them not to kiss, it was hard for them not to make out, hard for them not to have sex right there.

"I missed you baby girl."

His grip around her tightened, she bit her bottom lip as her insides grew fuzzy

"I missed you, Aubrey."

Her voice was sweet, that only made him crave her more. He had half a mind to ditch the party and take her back to the hotel. He needed to feel her body against his and as close as they were right now it just wasn't enough. He was greedy with her and he didn't care, she was his and that's all he knew.

He hated the fact that in 2 months she would be free to go, in 2 months she would no longer belong to him.

But that was up to him, for the next 2 months he was going to make it his mission to keep her with him, he didn't believe in love but every time he even looked at Nina, that feeling grew just a little bit stronger.
