Her heart pounded as they rounded the corner, it was 4 am and Aubrey was just now able to pull Nina from the party, not that he wanted to leave himself. They welcomed him like they were all family, offered him food and drink, even offered him joints of weed. Not only were they oh-so-kind but he loved the way they treated Nina, they were just as, if not more protective then him and that made him happy.

She stopped in front of the door, her heart began to race as she hyperventilate. Aubrey look down at her with furrowed brows, just two seconds ago she was smiling and laughing, wrapped in Aubreys love and attention but now she could care less. Her eyes were welled up with tears, as her breathing sped up

"Hey, hey. What's wrong? What's the matter?"

"I can't, he's gonna send me back. He's gonna take away all my flags and just send me back."

He pulled her in for a hug, he held her tight as she lay her head on his strong chest. He didn't have a clue what she was talking about but whatever it was that made her sad he was going to try his hardest to make her feel better. He had half a mind to say fuck it and just keep her with him for the rest of the night, well.. Morning. But he knew that would only make things worse.

"It's okay baby girl."

"No it's not! He's gonna make me go back, he's gonna make me go back!"

"Shh, shhhh."

He put his hand on the back of her head as she snuggled into him more, he missed holding her in his arms and that's all he did all day. He held her while they danced together, he held her while she sat on his lap and ate her food, he held her all day and it felt so good. He felt her body against his and it was only gonna hurt 10x worse when they had to separate again.

"Look at me."

She hesitated but pulled away, she stepped back to look up at him, trying her hardest to keep the tears from spilling. She got butterflies in her tummy as he wrapped her hands in his, he shuffled forward so his body was pressed against hers.

"I made a promise to you Nina. I'm gonna get you back, I promised and I'm not breaking that. You will not go back, I promise you."

"But what if-"

"Let him say it, let it get to the point where your about to walk into the TPP building but I promise you.. You won't step foot inside."

Her heart burst with flames, all she wanted to do was snuggle with him. Sleep with him. Be with him. But that couldn't happen.

"I promise."

He leaned down to place a small kiss to her nose. His lips lowered from her nose to her lips where he placed a soft, tender kiss. Her insides roared as she wished she could stay like this forever.

The room was dark, everything was dark. Oliver was asleep thank god and she knew that once he was asleep, he wasn't waking up till it was time. Even though that was in 6 hours, it was better then nothing.

Aubrey didn't dare step foot in the room so he watched her from the door. He watched her as she lay down on the couch and slouch down in distress. He watch her as she throw the blanket over her and fiddle with the stitching. Oh how he wished he could scoop her up and take her away forever.

"Goodnight baby girl."

She didn't say anything, just watched in woe as he pulled the door closed slowly. His figure disappeared and she felt like a part of her was torn away.

She looked at the closed door for a good ten minutes, visualizing and fantasizing about Aubrey bursting into the door and carrying her off into the soon coming sunrise. Only in a perfect world would that happen.

She move her vision from one door to the other as she now give her attention to Oliver's door. She thought about what would happen when he awoke, she had a bad feeling in her tummy and it only grew worse with anticipation. She understood what Aubrey was saying but it honestly went in one ear and left right from the other, Oliver was gonna be pissed and there was no doubt about that.

Steve hated her, he had two sides though. One side would want her to sit in a cruel, cold world of Boot camp but another part would want to get her out of there quick so he wouldn't have to deal with her. TPP headquarters was in a completely different state, Steve never saw Nina in person but he was assigned to her. Each person that worked for TPP was assigned to hundreds of people across the country in different camps and unfortunately Nina was one of Steves clients.

The sun rise was coming up in an hour and Nina didn't have any sleep, sleep was the last thing on her mind. She wished she could sleep, it would refresh her, make her feel better. But it was an impossibility. And at the moment she felt like it always would be.
