A/N: Jamie is aware that Siobhan is pregnant with twins, but he's at his aunts house. I forgot to mention him in the story, oops.
Third person pov:
Vivian and Siobhan had been counting down the days to this moment. After months of keeping their big news to themselves, they were finally ready to share it with their closest friends. Siobhan, glowing with joy and just a hint of nerves, was now six months pregnant with twin girls. Their excitement was palpable, but they wanted the reveal to be special, intimate, and full of love.
The gikrs decided that the gathering should take place at their home as iy was a place that they were familiar with. The living room, with its soft candlelight and warm blankets draped over the couch, was the perfect setting for the news they were about to share. Siobhan sat with her feet up, a hand resting protectively on her growing belly, while Vivian was bustling around the kitchen, making sure everything was perfect for their small celebration.
Their friends began arriving one by one. First was Marjorie, their best friend, who had hated Siobhan at first but over time, shes realized that she isnt all bad, with the help from vivian. She swept in, her dark curls bouncing as she hugged Siobhan gently, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “Alright, spill! What’s this mysterious announcement you’ve been teasing us with?”
Next came mia and Charlotte, a cute couple, complete opposites but very clearly smitten with each other. Mia had known Siobhan for years, and she's been there to witness her bad times with Roger and her good times with vivian. Mia raised an eyebrow at the pair and plopped herself on the sofa next to charlotte “If this is about adopting another cat, I swear, you two—”
“No cats,” Vivian laughed from the kitchen, setting down a tray of drinks. “But you’re going to want to sit for this.”
Sorscha, Clodagh, and Quinn arrived after mia and charlotte, Autumn and Winter, arrived shortly after. The lively group filled the room with laughter, stories, and the occasional friendly jab as they caught up. Mia, with her infectious energy, was already trying to guess what the announcement was, while Clodagh, ever the calm one, simply smiled.
Vivian finally joined Siobhan on the couch, her hand finding hers in a quiet gesture of solidarity. Everyone quieted down, sensing the moment had arrived.
“So,” Siobhan began, her voice soft but filled with emotion, “we’ve been keeping something from you for a little while, but we thought now was the right time to tell you all…”
Marjorie leaned forward, eyes wide. “You’re killing me here!”
Siobhan laughed, and with a tender smile, she placed both hands on her belly. “We’re having twins. Two little girls.”
For a moment, there was silence. The weight of the news hung in the air, thick with anticipation. Then, as if on cue, the room erupted into cheers and shouts of joy. Marjorie was the first to wrap them both in a tight embrace, tears in her eyes.
“Twins!” she exclaimed, her voice shaky with excitement. “I knew something was up! Oh my god, this is amazing!”
Sorscha whooped and clapped her hands. “Twin girls! Do they have names yet? Wait, let me guess—something magical, right?”
Vivian chuckled. “We haven’t quite settled on names yet, but don’t worry, we’ll take suggestions.”
Charlotte beamed at them both. “This is the best news. I’m so happy for you both.”
Mia, never one to stay quiet, jumped up and declared, “I call dibs on being the cool aunt! I'm just saying. I’ve been preparing for this moment since Siobhan left Roger."
Clodagh, always the level-headed one, smiled warmly. “They’re going to be so loved. We’ll be here for anything you need.”
Autumn and reece were never ones to show that they were happy but they gave both Siobhan and vivian a warm smile and reassured them that if there was anything that they needed help with, they would be there especially if it was to protect the little ones.
Vivian and Siobhan shared a look, overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from their friends. The room was buzzing with plans for baby showers, nursery decorations, and future playdates. Siobhan’s heart swelled as she imagined their daughters growing up surrounded by such an incredible group of women—each one vibrant, supportive, and full of life in their own unique way.
Later, as the night wound down and their friends began to leave, Marjorie and reece lingered behind. She watched Vivian and Siobhan together, their love for each other clear in every glance and touch.
“You two are going to make amazing moms,” she said softly, wrapping an arm around Siobhan’s shoulder. “And those little girls are going to be the luckiest kids in the world.”
Reece was just there to keep Marjorie company. He didn't say much to the pair. He still found it awkward to be around Siobhan, given that he has never had a relationship with the girl, and she was once his step mum.
Siobhan smiled, tears of happiness welling in her eyes. “We couldn’t do it without you all.”
Vivian squeezed Siobhan’s hand, her eyes shining with the same emotions. “They’re going to grow up surrounded by so much love.”
As the door closed behind Marjorie and reece, leaving the house quiet and peaceful, Siobhan leaned into Vivian, her head resting on her fiancée’s shoulder.
“Can you believe it?” she whispered. “Two girls. Our little family.”
Vivian pressed a kiss to the top of her head. “I can. And I can’t wait to meet them.”
And in that moment, with their hearts full of hope and love, they knew they were ready for whatever came next. Their journey as parents had just begun, and with their friends by their side, they felt unstoppable.
A/N I'm seriously running out of ideas 😭
