Third person pov:

Vivian and Siobhan had been engaged for over a year, but between their hectic lives and raising three children, wedding planning always seemed to fall to the bottom of the list. Their home was lively with their five-year-old son Jamie, and the mischievous twins, Harper and Hailey, who were just 6 months old Life was full of joy and chaos, but planning a wedding amidst it all felt overwhelming.

One sunny Saturday, after much discussion, Vivian and Siobhan finally decided it was time to sit down and make serious plans for their big day. They had a close-knit circle of friends who they knew would help them through the process. So, they called their dear friend Charlotte and asked if she could watch the kids for the afternoon. Charlotte, always ready to help, enthusiastically agreed and came over to pick up the little ones. The kids adored their "Auntie Charlotte," and when she showed up at the door, they raced to her car, chattering excitedly about the day they'd spend with her.

With the house suddenly quiet, Vivian and Siobhan exchanged a relieved smile. Finally, they had some time to focus. Siobhan had already called mia, and her best friend, Marjorie, to come over and help with the planning. The two arrived shortly after the kids left, both carrying bags of snacks and wedding magazines.

"I've been dying to see you two in wedding mode!" Marjorie grinned as she hugged Siobhan. "We've waited long enough for this moment."

Marjorie plopped down on the couch, immediately flipping through the glossy pages of a wedding catalog. "Okay, ladies, where are we starting? Venue? Dresses? Caterers? We need a game plan!" She said in her overly excited tone.

Vivian sat down with a sigh of relief, picking up a notepad. "We've been thinking about a small outdoor ceremony, but we're not sure about the exact location yet."

"Oh, I've got some ideas!" Marjorie said excitedly. "What about that botanical garden you two love? It would be beautiful in the spring."

Vivian's eyes lit up at the thought. "That would be perfect! The kids would love it there too, and it has a lot of space for friends Plus, Jamie could be the ring bearer, and the twins could throw flower petals."

Mia chimed in, "That sounds magical. And for your reception, maybe something cozy and intimate, like a vineyard or a quaint cottage-style venue?"

Vivian nodded thoughtfully. "Yes, that would fit us perfectly. And of course you'd want something intimate mia. Plus its Simple, but elegant. We don't want anything too over the top, just something that feels like... us."

Marjorie waved a hand in the air. "I'll start researching local places right now. Oh, and we have to talk about the dress! What kind of look are you two going for?"

Siobhan and Vivian exchanged a glance, smiling. "We were thinking something non-traditional " Vivian said. "Something that feels comfortable but still special. I'm thinking about wearing a suit.. I think Siobhan mentioned something about a tight black dress but this is the first time really talking about it."

Marjorie squealed. "Oh, this is going to be so much fun! We'll find the perfect styles for both of you."

The afternoon passed quickly as the four women brainstormed ideas, laughed, and shared wedding visions. Marjorie had a knack for organizing and helped create a timeline for their planning. Mia, always the fashionista, was already texting a few bridal boutiques to set up appointments for dress shopping. Siobhan and Vivian felt a sense of calm wash over them. What once seemed like an overwhelming task now felt exciting and manageable with the support of their friends.

As they wrapped up their planning session, Siobhan leaned into Vivian and whispered, "I'm so glad we're finally doing this."

Vivian smiled, squeezing her hand. "Me too. This is going to be perfect."
