chapter 8: hospital

Vivians pov:

I arrive at my house, and Siobhan isn't too far behind me. I could have taken all of her things inside on my own, but I didn't want her to be waiting out here on her own, so I decided to wait for her.

3 minutes pass, and she arrives at my house. I help her get out of her car before getting her things out of the car to put inside the house.

Jamie is with his grandparents tonight, I told them about what's going on with Siobhans situation and they told me that's they will be fine watching him for the next few days untill Siobhan is ready to meet him in this environment rather then just at the knight nursery.

I place her things into the living room, and I grab her hand so I can take her out to my car and drive her to the hospital.

"Viv, please don't leave me alone in there. Will you stay with me please? I really don't want to be alone."

Awww, this made my heart melt. The fact that she wanted me to be with her the full time gave me a better idea of just how bad Roger was to her. I know that it is now my job to make sure that she feels safe and secure at all times and to protect her from everything and everyone.

I really like Siobhan but she has just came out of a long abusive relationship and i know she won't want to dive into anything too fast so I'm just going to go at whatever pace she wants this to go at.

20 minutes later:

We arrive at the hospital and I am greeted by my friend Molly. I tell her that Siobhan just needs a quick check up and that I am more than happy to do it for her.

Molly takes one look at Siobhan, and she knows exactly what's happened.

Siobhan wanted to wear one of her long sleeved t-shirts but I promised her that she would be okay in just a normal shirt, it's too hot for her to be wearing a long one and I didn't want her to over heat.

I take Siobhan to one of the rooms, and Molly follows behind us.

Molly tells her to lay down on the bed while she does some x-rays on her arm. The cuts are deep, but she can also see the bruises that she has all over her arm, and she wants to check that it's not broken or anything.

The x-ray results come back, and to my suprise, she doesn't give any broken bones in her arm.

Molly carefully cleans up the wounds that she has on her arm to steady the bleeding. Once she's cleaned up, she places a bandage on her, trying to be as gentle as she can.

Siobhan, thanks Molly for helping her sort this out. Molly tells us that we can have half an hour in here on our own to discuss anything, or I can do any checkups that I feel like she might need.

I decided that Siobhan doesn't need any extra checkups as I can see that her being here is making her nervous.

"Siobhan, you're going to be okay. I promise. I'm going to be here with you and for you no matter what."

"Thank you for everything vivian you have been an absolute angel to me since the moment that I first met you."

My heart melts for Siobhan. I really do have really strong feelings for her despite what people at the nursery told me.

I can see why people would think that she is cold, but it's not her fault. It never was her fault. She had so much going on in her home environment, and nobody took the time of day to notice what she was going through.

"Vivian, can we go back to yours, please? I don't want to be here anymore."

I noticed tears streaming down her face, I wonder what happened? I'm not going to force her to tell me anything about her past buy if the time comes, I might ask her about it. But for now, I'm just going to let her tell me whatever she feels like.
