chapter 16: mamma?

Vivians pov:

A few weeks have passed since Janmie first met siobhan. They have both developed such a strong bond.

I work 4 times a week, and Siobhan only works twice a week, so on the day that I am at work, she takes Jamie out to the park for a couple of hours or out for food. It really depends on what they want to do.

Siobhan always lets Jamie choose.

While in the middle of my little day dream about Jamie and Siobhan, Siobhan walks in, looking happier than ever.

"Hey bon bon, you look happy. What's put you in such a good mood?" I ask, smirking at her. God, she's so cute.

"Oh, I just read Jamie a bedtime story, and he fell asleep smiling. That's all not much to ride home about, but knowing he's happy makes my heart feel warm and full."

I give Siobhan a warm smile at her response, and I throw myself onto the sofa. I open my arms as a signal to let Siobhan know that I want her to come and climb on top of me so that I can hold her for a while.

After being in an abusive relationship for such a long time, Siobhan hated physical contact during the begginging of our relationship but over time she has became really clingy and will jump into my arms the second that the opertunity comes up.

Not that I'm complaining or anything, and I love it when Siobhan gets all clingy because it means that I get to hold her for as long as she wants, which is usually all night.

I wouldn't  have this relationship any other way. It's a bond like no other.

We are both off work tomorrow, and Jamie is at nursery, so we have the full day to spend together. We haven't had alone time for at least a week so I am really looking forward to the things that we can do together.

Siobhan snaps me out of my little day dream once again.

"Viv, can we watch a movie please while I lay in your arms?" She asks with puppy eyes. God, it's like she thinks I'm going to say no to her. Why would I ever? She's MY girl, and I am happy to do anything that she wants. Anything that will make my girl happy I will do.

"Of course, baby, you pick the movie, I'm happy with whatever as long as you're happy," I respond with a smile on my face and a soft voice.

I know u said Siobhan can be quite clingy, but in all fairness, I am the exact same. I always want her in my arms. They feel bare and empty without her there.

Siobhan sticks on the movie Mamma mia. She absolutely adores this movie. I'll never really understand why, but whatever she loves, I love too.

Siobhan would never let anyone know how much she loves this movie. Most people in her life think that she finds live movies cringe and weird, but I know that she absolutely loves them.

I really want Siobhan to patch things up with marjorie. She needs someone else in her corner that isn't me and know that Roger is out of the picture, there's no reason why them two can't build a relationship but she won't listen to me when I tell her. I know she secretly wants too but she doesn't want anyone other than me to know that this ice queen has a really soft, gooey center.

The movie gets to about halfway through, and I notice that Siobhan has  fallen fast asleep in my arms. I plant kissed on her forehead and hold her tight. I really do love her with almost all of my heart, and I really want to marry her one day, but I'm not sure I'd be ready for that kind of commitment just yet. After all, we have only been together for just over a month, and she hasn't built a bond with anyone inside her work place jus yet.

I notice that she is starting to shiver. She's probably getting cold. I decide that it would be for the best if I carry her up to bed. She's already asleep in my arms anyway, and it wouldn't be the first time that this has happened. While watching this exact movie, too. I notice that she always falls asleep just before the scene where Tanya sing "does your mother know."
