chapter 19: arrangements and shopping

Third person pov:

A few weeks have passed since Siobhan and marjorie briefly spoke about potentially going on a double date. Vivian and reece were more than happy with the arrangement, but after that day a few weeks back, it hadn't been spoken about. Vivian decided that she was going to change this, however.

Vivian creeped out of the bedroom while Siobhan and Jamie were having a quick power nap in eachothers embrace and went downstairs to call reece.

Marjorie answered the phone straight away, but she was a tiny bit confused as to why Vivian was calling reece this late in the afternoon on a Friday..

Viv: hiya reece its Vivian, im just calling to see what you guys are doing tomorrow night?"

Marj: "Oh hiya Viv, it's me, marjorie. reece is in the shower. I gathered that if you were calling, it's probably for something important. We're not doing anything tomorrow? Why did you ask?"

Viv: "Well, i was wondering if you guys would be okay with going on a double date with us. You can obviously bring reece, and I'll bring Siobhan. I don't want her to know about it, though. I have a suprise for her but she can not find out."

Marj: "A suprise? I won't tell, I promise."

Viv: "I want it to be a suprise for all of you. Not just Siobhan, I promise it'll be worth the wait, though. I'll see you tomorrow at 5?"

Marj: "tommorow at 5, see you later, my love."

With that, vivian ends the phone call and returns to the bedroom to see both Jamie and Siobhan awake and still in eachothers arms. The sight of them two cuddled up together like that makes vivian even more excited and anxious about tomorrow. She's obviously excited, but she's still so neverous. It could change their relationship in so many different ways.

Siobhan noticed that Vivian was staring at her and Jamie, so she invited her to climb into bed with them. Vivian did exactly that. She shifted Jamie over abut so that she could lay right next to Siobhan exactly where she belonged.

It didn't take long for Siobhan to shuffle herself closer to Viv and lay practically on top of her, though. Vivian held her tight and close. Siobhan can be a very clingy girl, not that she'd ever let anyone know that, though. The only people she will ever cuddle and hold are her perfect family. Her "son" and her Vivian. Nobody else.

The happy family lay in bed like that foe a while until Jamie started to get bored and more awake. Siobhan noticed that Jamie didn't seem too settled.

Siobhan: "jamie, are you okay, sweetheart?"

Jamie: "Mama, can we go park, please?"

Truthfully, Siobhan didn't really want to go to the park as it was 6 pm on a Saturday night, but who was she to say no to her little man. She knows that the park would be full of teenagers doing stupid shit at around this time, so she came up with a different idea that would make him just as happy if not happier.

Siobhan: "How about we go to the shops and get some sweets and things like that instead? We could build a fort in the living room if you'd like, watch movies, and eat in the den? Would you like that, Jamie?"

Jamie practically jumped right out of bed and ran into his room to get changed into more suitable clothing.

Vivian was reluctant to get out of bed but she knew that she would much rather go shopping with her favorite people and build forts rather then stay in bed on her own so she dragged herself out of bed and went to find her and Siobhan some clothes to throw on.

Viv handed Siobhan a pair of leggings and one of her jumpers before finding herself the blue and white stripped shirt that she normally wears.

Once the pair and Jamie were ready, they made their way into the car and headed to asda to pick up some sweets for their movie night.

*10 minutes later*

After 10 minutes of Vivian driving and Siobhan being the passenger princess, they arrive at asda. Siobhan went to the back of the car to get Jamie out of his seat.

Siobhan held one of Jamie's hands, and vivian held the other. The family basically ran to the sweets isle.

Jamie picked up a packet of magic stars and Haribos, vivian had found her favorites, hazle nut dairy milk and wine gums, while Siobhan got a packet of squashies and a normal chocolate bar.

Siobhan saw a packet of salted caramel popcorn, so she picked that up too knowing that popcorn would make the movie night even more special. 

Once they arrive home, Jamie goes upstairs to get himself into some pajamas while Siobhan and vivian start making the fort downstairs. The living room is really big, so the fort was absolutely massive, and they knew that Jamie would absolutely love spending the night in there.

When the fort was finally finished, Viv and Siobhan also made their way upstairs so that they could get some duvets, pillows, and fairy lights to make the fort feel more comfortable. While they were up thee they also pit on their matching silk pajamas, vivian settled with the blue ones and Siobhan went with the black.

As soon as everyone was ready, they made their way downstairs and finished setting up the fort. The minute the fort was finished, Jamie climbed straight inside with his snacks and laid himself right in the middle, so he had the best view of the laptop. Viv and Siobhan followed him in not long after and brought in their own snacks.

They ended up watching the paw patrol movie for the 50th time because they knew that it's Jamie's favorite movie to watch, and he probably wouldn't have been interested in anything else.

It was killing Siobhan that she couldn't be right next to vivian in her arms because their was a certain somebody who was stopping the pair from being close but it didn't stop them from holding eachothers hand.

An hour later, all the snacks had been finished, and the movie was almost at an end. Siobhan took the empty wrappers and threw them in the bin before making her way back to Viv and Jamie.

Siobhan couldn't take it anymore. She needed to be in siobhans arms right now, and since Jamie was asleep, she knew that it would be a lot easier to move him, and that's exactly what she did. She carefully shifted Jamie so that she and him had swapped places.

Vivian couldn't help but giggle at siobhans clingy behavior. Nothing could, can, or would ever stop Siobhan from clinging to vivian all night long, not even their sleeping 5 year old terror.

A short while later, Siobhan fell asleep in vivians arms. Vivian, however, was having trouble sleeping. She's stressing about tomorrow.  She just wants everything to go perfectly. She's been keeping a secret from everyone for weeks, and she's terrified about the way that people will react to what she's doing. But she brushes the feelings away.

Plus, vivs sister will be coming early in the morning to collect Jamie so that Viv can have a few hours just making sure that everything runs smoothly tomorrow. Despite all the horrible thoughts that she has, she finally manages to drift off to sleep, lying happily in her girlfriends arms.

Right where she belongs.

Little does Siobhan know....

Vivian isn't going to be her girlfriend for much longer..
