Standing in a crowded room and I can't see your face

Put your arms around me, tell me everything's OK

In my mind, I'm running round a cold and empty space

Just put your arms around me, tell me everything's OK.

Chapter 17: Enchanting Discoveries.

{Tyler's P.O.V.}

We were on the road again & off to go test out our powers. I'm curious to see where my own powers are at at this point in time (A/N: Evidence English is such a flawed language, I HATE I HAD TO USE TWO AT'S, FML.) I'm also pretty nosey what Troye is capable of. It seems out superpowers have been developing further without us even "practicing" them.

Why?

That's the main question pricking me since my evaluation. Why? None of this is making any sense to me. If anything, nothing makes sense at all.

Why is it out of the blue, I can do things with my powers that I never have been able to?

Why is Troye also going through the same thing?

Are things going to get worse before they get better?

What else can my powers do if they advance deeper in development?

What can Troye do if his powers flourish further?

Why am I overthinking, thus stressing myself out more than before?

I shut my eyes & rub my temples on both sides. My head is ringing like phone, begging to be picked up & answered to be stopped. My problem was I don't have the answers. I don't know anything. I have no clue what's happening.

Neither does Troye.

"Ty, you okay?" He kept his eyes on the road, gripping my head tighter by the second, but I had a feeling he probably read my mind when I spaced off.

"Yeah, for the most part. My head just really hurts."

"Awh, baby, I'm sorry," He looked over for a moment before kissing the back of my hand & placing it down on the dashboard.

My headache slowly subsided to just a small throbbing feeling & my stomach flew sky high with butterflies at the word "Baby." Troye's not really one to use pet names, so this meant a lot. He thinks they're gross or too corny. I guess I softened him up a bit.

"Tyler, what have you done to me? You've turned me into a corny corn on a cob, God damn it," Troye half-smirked, still driving with all his focus, squeezing my hand a few times. I felt the corners of my mouth twitching to smile & I let myself do so.

"The amount of how much I love you is unfathomable," I sigh, leaning on his shoulder.

"I could say the same."

We were driving to the outskirts of town, trying to find a vacant, uninhabited field of land. That shouldn't be to hard considering Washington has lots of farm land available everywhere you go.

We drove for roughly 3 & a half hours straight until we finally found somewhere we likely won't be detected.

I'd fallen asleep to be woken up with Troye taking a picture with me.

He mass texted all of our friends a picture of us while I was sleeping, captioning it, "Tyler's asleep!"

He was about to take another picture when he saw I had woken up, but snapped the picture anyways, sending it again to everyone we know, this time, it said: "Tyler's awake!"
