Chapter 33: Distractions, Distractions.

Another Saturday, another careless move

Tells the world that you're thinking of what to do

A window opens up and someone calls your name

But I can tell you don't know how to play this game

I know this isn't it

You'll hit your target someday

So now you're on your own, won't you come back home

To see you're not that kind and find the strength, and find the strength

To find another way

To find another way

To find another way

To find another way

So tell me what you need and I'll accommodate

But if too long goes by you just might be too late

An opportunity you can't afford to waste

So have the lines in your head first for heaven's sake

You hear the day beckoning

Know that it's all in your head.

Chapter 33: Distractions, Distractions.

{Caspar's P.O.V.}

[A/N: OH SHIT, SURPRISE, CASPAR'S P.O.V. PROBABLY DOING JOE TOO, JASPAR, YES. Whoa(: I FUCKING LOVE TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB, SO. Sorry I was very Fall Out Boy trashy last Chapter & Hunger Games too. SO MANY OF YOU WERE VV EXCITED ABOUT BEN THOUGH, WOW.]

I'd trade all my tomorrows for just one yesterday, but this isn't about me. It's bigger than me & Joe, they're after Troye & Tyler, even more so, Ingrid.

I don't know what our attackers have against her, she seems nice enough. Something tells me that she might know a lot, enough to help Troyler out of their stump.

As much as she might know, it might be too much. Enough to get all of us in a heaps of trouble.

Troyler, Phan, & Zoe have a chance of getting out if Joe & I cause a little diversion. If I could help out enough to get my best friends secured, protected, & alive, I'd feel accomplished like my life didn't go to waste & I served for a meaning, a purpose.

"Caspar, I can't let you risk your life for us-"

"You'd do the same, wouldn't you?"

"Why does that matter-"

"Just answer the question," I impatiently cut Troye off. All he's going to try to do is unconvince me.

I don't need to hear him whine or complain or act like a Dad now of all times. There is nothing he can do to change my mind, I'm going to do what I can. We don't have time to argue anyways, our enemies may come after us again any minute. It's now or never.

"Of course I would. You're like my brother."

"That's all I needed to hear. Joe, morph into Ingrid as a distraction & come with me. If it's Ingrid they want, it's Ingrid they'll get. Get home safely," I turn from Joe to face my friends with a heavy heart.

We're all thinking the same thing right now: I might not make it out alive.

Neither might Joe.
