Honorbound 8

The crisp, gentle wind felt like a blessing against Tessia's skin as she made her way through the forest of Elenoir. She needed to get out of the palace, and while it was a stupid idea to run away again, she held no regrets. She was tired of arguing with her father and needed this time to relax and be with herself. 

Pushing some foliage out of the way, a smile graced Tessia's lips at the beautiful scene that appeared before her. Arriving at the pond she usually ran to, she noticed how the clear water sparkled beautifully. Gazing upwards, she admired the full moon that beamed through the opening in the canopy, giving the area a warm ambiance. 

Looking back to the pond, Tessia walked forward and knelt beside it. Dipping her hands into the water, she hummed at the pleasant feeling, noticing the water wasn't too cold or hot but felt just right. Tessia stood up and kicked her shoes off before dipping her feet into the water. She hummed to herself, tilting her head to the side as she watched and felt the water glide around her foot. As she did this, she couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by wanting to swim inside the beautiful water. 

Taking her foot out, Tessia unclasped the silver waist belt, letting it fall to the floor. Next, she pushed the straps of her sleeveless white dress off her shoulders, letting it fall off her. She smiled a little, feeling the crisp air flow over her body as she was left in just her underwear. She took a step forward to go into the lake but stopped. She grinned as she looked around with an idea and thought that since she was all alone out here, it couldn't hurt.

Reaching back, Tessia unclasped her bra and tossed it to the floor before removing her underwear. She giggled to herself, feeling the crisp air flow over her naked body, which she thought felt nice. With an excited smile, Tessia walked forward and sat on the comfortable grassy edge of the pond before she pushed herself inside. The warm pond water felt exquisite against her skin, and Tessia hummed in bliss as she swam around. 

Reaching a shallow part of the pond, Tessia stood up, with the water only reaching her clavicle. She submerged herself under the water, enjoying the water against her face, before she surfaced again. A warm, blissful smile graced her lips as she closed her eyes and finger-combed her hair back.  

Tessia hummed to herself as she combed her hair, but she stopped and her eyes shot open as she heard a stick crack. Hearing footsteps, Tessia smirked as she continued to brush her hair. When she heard plants being pushed apart as the person made their way into the opening where the pond was, Tessia heard the footsteps stop.

"So," Tessia said with a smirk. "You finally arrived."

Tessia slowly turned around, and her eyes fell on Arthur, who was standing there with an unreadable expression. She watched as his eyes lowered, and her smirk grew as she knew he could see everything through the crystal-clear water. She tried to remain still so as to not cause any distortions in the surface of the water and to give her guard a better view.

Tessia watched as Arthur swallowed hard, and she mentally chuckled, seeing it was a sign of him desperately holding onto his composure. However, she couldn't help but wonder how long he could hold out for.

Arthur's eyes flicked to hers. "Princess," Arthur began, his voice tight. "Your father has requested that you return to the palace immediately." 

Tessia sighed and twined her silvery hair, which shimmered in the moonlight, around her finger, "I see. That's too bad." Tessia looked at Arthur playfully, "And if I say no? What will you do?"

Arthur's jaw clenched, "I'll just use water magic to fling your ass out of that pond."

"I see," Tessia nodded. She smirked, "Let me get out, then."

Tessia watched as Arthur's brows raised with surprise since he was probably expecting her to resist. However, she had other ideas in mind. Arthur's eyes followed Tessia as she slowly moved to the end of the pond where he was standing. Tessia locked eyes with Arthur one more time before she grinned and elegantly pushed herself out of the pond.
