Stepping out from the Adventurer's Guild, Tessia was fuming at the predicament she found herself in. She had every intention of going out to the Beast Glades and enjoying some freedom and space when she started this endeavor. Something she very much needed at the moment. However, the last thing she expected, or wanted, was to run into Arthur.

Tessia huffed as she walked down the steps. She hated this. Hated how now she had to spend this time with Arthur. How she had to listen to his stupid voice. Hear his idiotic ideas. Fight alongside him. Smell his pine scent, which was delicate and sweet. See his stupid, amazing, beautiful, deep, gleaming azure eyes. Watch his well-defined muscles move, especially when caught just right in the light. Observe his shiny auburn hair, which felt nice when she glided her fingers—

Tessia stopped and physically facepalmed.

'What the fuck is wrong with me?'

"Luna?"

Tessia's head snapped up, and she looked to her right, seeing Lilia eyeing her worriedly.

"You okay?" Lilia asked.

Tessia looked behind her and saw Eleanor standing beside Arthur, who had both stopped. Arthur grinned when their gazes met, which gave Tessia a sudden, strong desire to punch him in the face. Her lips curled, remembering when she broke his nose in the bathroom. But then, her smile faded when she recollected what transpired in that same room. How Arthur pinned her wrists above her, pressed his body against hers, breathed on her skin, and how she felt his coc—

Tessia breathed in sharply, her face heating. She was suddenly very glad she was wearing the mask.

'Seriously. What the fuck is wrong with me? Fuck him.'

Tessia's eyes flicked to Eleanor, seeing that Eleanor was eyeing her with a curious gaze.

"Luna?" Lilia asked again.

"Fine," Tessia said, before she whirled around and took a few steps, before she stopped. She looked left and right before she suddenly realized something.

'I have no idea where I'm going.'

Twirling around to face Arthur, Tessia crossed her arms, "I know I look great from the back. But, since I have no idea where we are going, how about you take the lead?"

Eleanor's head tilted more, her eyes narrowing.

Arthur gave a half smile, his grin showing, "I was going to wait and see how long it took you to figure that out."

Tessia's eyes flared, "Well, now that I figured it out, why don't you stop standing there like an idiot and lead the way?"

Eleanor's lips pursed, her eyes locked on Tessia.

Arthur chuckled as he stepped forward, coming to a stop in front of her and looking down at her. "I could be in front, as I'm sure you would enjoy that view."

Tessia rolled her eyes, "You always did think highly of yourself."

Lilia's eyes darted between Arthur and Tessia, looking uncomfortable... again.

Arthur shrugged, "Perhaps." He leaned closer to her, "But, I know that out of the two of us—" his eyes looked up and down her frame. An intense wave of warmth shot through Tessia, pooling in her core at his gaze. She clamped down on her jaw and forced that feeling away. His gaze met hers, "—you are far more beautiful."

Tessia flinched, her traitorous heart fluttering, but she narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms, "You can keep those comments to yourself. I don't want them. Not from you. Ever."
