When Hia Chan finished speaking, everything seemed to stop, even my own breath. P'Q was still standing there, silent. I didn't understand what he was afraid of or why he wouldn't speak. Just say how you feel about me. Is it that hard? Don't make Toey angry na.

"I'll ask you one more time, do you love Toey?"

"..."

"Love."

"What did you say?"

"I love Toey."

"..."

The hidden group of guys cheered loudly, like a university choir.

"That's it, you idiot. You made us worry for months." Hia Chan said, pushing Phi Q's head before laughing and hugging him.

"Hey, wait, what's going on? I'm confused." P'Q said, looking at the other guys who were now coming out and smiling.

"You got pranked. Enjoy the surprise, buddy." Hia Beer and Hia Tan said, hugging P'Q.

"You guys tricked me."

"Took you long enough to figure it out."

"Fuck, fuck, fuck..." P'Q said, collapsing to the ground. Haha, he was so weak.

Hia Phum and the others started kicking him lightly. Hey, don't kick too haảd na! Suddenly, P'Q stood up and looked straight at me. Uh-oh, that look doesn't seem angry, right?

"Whose idea was this?"

"Here, go sort it out. We're leaving. Bye-bye." Hia Peem said, pushing me towards P'Q before they all walked away, leaving just me and P'Q. Hia Peem, why did you abandon me like this? If Toey gets killed and buried in the toilet, who will help?

I could only look down at my flip-flops and then at Q's sneakers. I didn't know what to do. Honestly, I was scared too. Even though I knew P'Q loved me, anyone would be annoyed or even angry after being pranked like this.

Everything around me was silent, making me feel even more pressured.

"What did you see  in me? A stupid clown?" P'Q didn't yell or shout; his voice was calm and distant. He seemed so distant, making me feel uneasy.

"P'Q, Toey... Toey just wanted to..."

"Had enough fun? Why are you looking down? Are my feet more attractive than my face?"

I bit my lip and forced myself to look up at P'Q. Huh? Why is he smiling?

"P'Q, are you teasing..."

"Heh, you think you can prank me and get away with it?"

P'Q pulled me into a hug, a hug I'd been waiting for almost four years. A gentle touch on my temple made me smile even more. It felt so good that I hugged P'Q tightly.

"Phi Q."

"Do you know, Toey, that sometimes I thought... even though you and Nompan are different people, I was sure that one day... the person I love would be you."

Phi Q will love me, no matter who I am.

"Toey loves P'Q too." I said.

Whether it was the guy who walked past the shop every day, Phi Dinso, or the man hugging me now, he was the one I loved.

My love finally came true. Thank you to all my brothers and everyone who supported me and Q all along.
