As you all already know, we have taken the plunge into becoming members of the volunteer camp, and we've been carrying out our duties as good members for a while now. It sounds impressive, but the truth is that we've actually been familiar with this club since we started university—because Pan forced us to join, just like he made us attend that other camp. However, we're not regular members; we only drop by every once in a while, especially when it's time for a major camp like this. As a result, making new friendships isn't a problem, since we already know each other pretty well—it's mostly the same familiar faces, with just a few new juniors added here and there.

The club members are all familiar faces, including friends from Phum's faculty. Well, when you're volunteering to build school buildings and other structures, you need the manpower and brains of engineering students. This experience has taught me something new about engineering students—they're incredibly social creatures.

Simply put, they love sticking together as a group, moving around in packs. Men and women are treated equally in everything because they're all equally "manly". Haha! As for Phum, he seems to be very popular among his friends and probably quite the heartthrob, judging by how often his friends tease him. Though I'm not too thrilled about the teasing when it's about his love life. Hmph. Phum just smiles and laughs, being the quiet listener, unlike Mick, who never seems to stop talking.

What really helped us bond as a camp group in such a short time was alcohol—it's the ultimate relationship builder. Once we got to know each other, we started drinking together. At first, it was just a few of us mixing together, since we weren't all that familiar yet. But now? Everyone's practically stepping on each other's heads. They find a reason to drink every day. Yesterday, P'Tong, the club's top advisor (don't ask me how that works, because I'm confused too—Phi Tong's the advisor while Pan's the president. Go figure), had a fight with his wife and called us over to drink with him to cheer himself up. We drank right in the clubroom. P'Tong is a legend.

I now believe that political science students can truly do anything. Just as we were getting nicely drunk, P'Dao, the treasurer, walked in and caught us. We got an earful—she scolded us for nearly ten minutes straight. Turns out, she was mad because we were drinking without inviting the engineering girls. Turns out they can do anything too.

I think I'm starting to see the future of this volunteer camp taking shape—it's definitely going to revolve around drinking. Moonshine and mellow days, going all out and crashing hard. That sounds good, and this looks tempting. Don't mind me—it's just the hangover talking. For the past few days, we've been drinking almost every day, celebrating the end of the final exams and the end of our third year as university students.

But the reason I keep hanging around the university isn't because I'm some hardworking, dedicated club member—it's because I have nowhere else to go. Funny, right? Well, it's supposed to be, but the truth is, it's kind of sad. T^T I was forced to come here, as requested by you-know-who. Their faculty hasn't finished their exams yet, and that handsome troublemaker insisted I come and breathe the same oxygen as him so he'd have the motivation to study. +_+ Crazy, but here I am.

The atmosphere in the club is lively, chaotic, and fun—all very friendly. We've been doing donation drives for several days now. Technically, the university provides us with a budget, but it's not enough. Volunteer camps require a lot of funds, and besides, if we didn't do donation drives, it wouldn't really feel like a volunteer project, right?

We're not just relying on donation drives, though. We've also sent sponsorship letters to various companies, including the Charoenkiatwanich group, from which we've received a significant amount of support. Heh, not because there's heirs to the company in our club—these companies already have budget allocations for social causes anyway.
