Since we returned from Krabi, we've all gone our separate ways. For those who are curious about the marriage >///<, please ask Phum yourself. I don't know, haven't seen, and am not involved with anything. So, don't ask me, understand? >////<.

During the short school term, little Matthew took some time to visit his daddy in Italy. Toey went to fulfill his duty as a good son, working at his family's gold shop. In the evenings, he would skateboard over to my house to hang out and cause a ruckus. Oh, I forgot to mention that during this break, I came back to look after the shop for aunt Pui.

As for Chan, he didn't get to rest like the others because he had to study and attend classes as if it wasn't a break. When Chan is buried in books and academic material, he becomes a completely different person from the usual flirtatious playboy. Almost no one sees him for months, and sometimes I feel tired for him. Medical students have to endure such hardships, don't they?

However, all our activities came to a halt when the floodwaters arrived in Bangkok. Haha, even the university postponed the term start. Little Matt was so annoyed because he had only been with his dad in Italy for a week before rushing back to study, only to find out the university had postponed the term.

All this because of the flood. The flood alone. Aunt Pui ordered sandbags to stock up about eighteen truckloads and even wanted to take my grandma up to Chiang Mai to stay with my dad for safety. Even though the floodwaters were still in Ayutthaya (about 80 kilometers north of Bangkok), Aunt Pui complained to me because he got scolded by my dad.

"You are too paranoid, Pui. My mom can't take a flight; she's old and tired. You should watch out and warn yourself."

Haha, even her own brother scolded her. When the floodwaters reached Bangkok, Aunt Pui freaked out. She wasn't so worried about the house or the shop but more about the plants and flowers. She said, "Peem, watch out. If that flood reaches our house and kills even one of my plants, I will storm the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation!" Hahaha.

But I think it's not fair to blame just the government, opposition, or those in charge. The flood is a natural occurrence. It flows in whatever direction it wants, and no one can control it. No one wants such a disaster to happen. What we can do now is help each other and work together to get through this difficult time. Thai people don't abandon each other, right?^^

Pan has been out helping flood victims every day with his dad. His father retired from politics and became a legal advisor, academician, and author. He gained nationwide attention for being highly competent in his work.

I've said it before; good people rarely play politics. If they do, they don't last long because their goodness might disappear with the national budget (dodge bullets). Haha.

Aunt Pui and I donated both goods and money as much as we could. My dad and mom also transferred money to me to donate. I don't understand why he didn't transfer directly to the donation accounts. He insisted on going through my account. My dad finds joy in using his son. How weird.

But as the situation worsened, we had to go out and help. We became volunteers, packing supplies and evacuating flood victims to shelters. We all dispersed to different areas.

The other day, we helped evacuate flood victims from a university near Rangsit to Rajamangala Stadium. Volunteering was not only about helping fellow Thais and fulfilling our student duties but also making new friends from other institutions. When their university was flooded, we came to help. hoping they would do the same for us if needed. Hopefully, when we flood, they will come to help. Haha, just kidding, let's hope it doesn't flood.
